First day back at work after Christmas, without a doubt going to be the busiest week of my working life, had barely any sleep lay night, tried to turn my computer on and was met with BIOS beeps that I suspect mean a new machine..so I am now rendered effectively useless, I'm currently the only human being in the office at this point, no idea what time the support guys get here.....hope this isn't an indication of just how bad the next 6 weeks of work are gonna be

Speaking of that, my shower this morning, I didn't even need to turn on the hot tap! But the trolls inside made it freezing after a minute, so I adjusted the hot ever so slightly (quarter of an inch), and it's like fucking lava. Turn off the hot tap, get reasonable heat, and then sudden cold. Repeat process for 5 minutes. Ugh.
