She cupcaked him while we were playing Trivial Pursuit earlier, so it's probably even.

How my boss spent Christmas Day, as recounted by his niece:

"Highlight of the day: my uncle arriving in a blaze of glory, dressed as Elvis (ukelele in hand) and serenading us all before mopping his brow with a pair of y-fronts and throwing them in my sister's face."

Absolute heroics.

i'm thinking about paying california a visit in the spring. it will mean being homeless for a good while before i'm able to find a job and some kind of housing, but i still know people from when i lived there. i grew up in southern california and moved away 6 and a half years ago. homelessness is actually something i want to experience, and i don't think i could make it in the long run down there because it's so expensive, so no matter what, it would be a good trip to make. i'd have to bust my nuts to find the money to fund this excursion though because i need some cash on hand so i can, you know, feed myself without breaking laws which i'd really rather not do there. i don't think i even need to obtain camping gear of my own unless you count a couple tarps and a blanket.

i just told my friend/lover about it and he thinks i could totally do it and that it would be good for me, so i'm all kinds of FUCKING EXCITED. i'm getting fucking high off it. as in, bouncing off the walls and making a list of shit to pack. if i can camp out in the wilderness with minimal discomfort, camping out on the beach in a city where i know people with homes with showers would be nothing.

back to this place!

i used to live a 5 minute walk from there. i've eaten soooo many burritos up in the rafters.

Can I just be horribly selfish and say: "MY BEST FRIEND IS SICK!" ? : D

...meaning he'll stay home at new year's eve... meaning I have someone to BE with! :D

And the evening was saved by the gods of poor immune systems. Bitchin'

Jumping into bed after 3 hour walk through Southbank from watching the fireworks at the London Eye then an hour on public transport is the best thing ever.

Found a massive book of cds from back in the day. Not very many made the cut, but I found 5 cds I still like. Good way to start off the year. I know it's not a big win, but still pretty sweet.

Mother of god, this 35mm f/1.8 is amazing. Also, things seem to be going upwards now from the big poophole that was the last few weeks. Got re-acquainted with my best bud, and gunna start makin' some music again this week. Also considering getting a new job as I'm not getting paid enough for all the things I do :O
