At home with the folks, my brothers and a warm fire. Caught up on the menorah. Nice, quaint. Going to miss it when I move further away.

Couldn't figure out what to buy to my girlfriend for christmas- Bought a kit for making 40 liters of slime and a piercing jewelry.
Got a Colt special combat handgun from her.
The silence that occurred...

Woah!
Quickly go out and buy here something else. that's a keeper you have there.
How do you have a licence for that kind of handgun?

I will man. My balls shrinked and grew at the same time lol.
It's not a real gun, fires 4,5mm copper bbs at 125m/sec with co2. You can have them at 18 in Sweden.

Ah okay. For a moment I thought not only do you have a licence for a ludicrously high-powered handgun, but so does your girlfriend if she bought it. LOL. Was about to come and fight you for her (actually maybe not if you had a handgun of that calibre).

Our (second - we have two, but the first one is fish based) Christmas dinner is going to be awesome. 14 birds of 7 species stuffed inside each other with pork, rabbit and venison forcemeat filling the gaps.

Image

L-R: reared duck, 4 pigeon breasts, chicken, 3 teal, 2 mallard, 3 foie gras entiers, 2 pheasant, 2 snipe, 1kg each of pork sausagemeat, game sausagemeat and bacon. There is also a 7kg goose (not pictured) to gp round the outside. I am dithering over whether to add a partridge and a woodcock for completeness or whether that would be overdoing it for 2 adults and 3 small children.

Got home earlier from present exchange with my folks (escaping the stress of Xmas day insanity with them tomorrow), currently listening to the DTP boxset demos, having just shared an awesome meal with my amazing man, followed by a rock out together while washing up, currently safe in the knowledge that my niece is going to have a brilliant Christmas Day tomorrow. Life is good :)

Xmas weather was heavy rains and repeated thunderstorms.
Got myself a bottle of Johnnie Walker Blue for a present. Sweet! Also tried Doulbe Black for the first time today, which is much better than regular Black label.

my 6 yr old daughter so wanted an MP3 player for Christmas. And she got a Hello Kitty one. Mainly to listen to audio books, but I downloaded Addicted while testing it worked.
She switched it on. Her eyebrows raised. Her head banged. And she she said:
"Awesome!"
I have good genes.

Waking up to the sounds of my sister in law looking after our little man and the smells of my wife making espressos, whilst cooking eggs and some smokehouse bacon from our local butcher.

Rather awesome.

Me, my bro inlaw and my sister were all sitting on the sofa just now, bro inlaw just stood up and did a really really loud fart in my sister's face as he was doing it.
