Spent today gilding, which is a nice change from several weeks of fibreglassing with all the resin stink and fibreglass splinters (trust, get one of them and you'd never notice a wood splinter again) Now my clothes are covered in gold sparkles! Wheee!

Awesome is the shit ton of Thanksgiving food I ate today. So bloody full.

also, the local woody allen clone told me and told me i have "beautiful hair". usually i'm rude/a downright asshole when strangers approach me at bars or clubs, but i enjoyed his self-conscious cynicism so much that i accepted his compliment gracefully. "i know people tell you this all the time, it doesn't even matter, but..." then he scuttled off and apparently crossed the street in the wrong direction because he rushed back across and went the other way. yeah, he went full billy bibbit.
