I kinda doubt it. If you saw the cameras they were using, we'd really only benefit from the audio quality increase. Dev himself said that Blu-Ray would be too expensive to produce.

That's a downer. So you can judge cameras by their look if they're capable of recording in HD or not? Just to make sure to rely on your predictions

At least the guys who were in front of the barrier and doing interviews after the gigs. Can't speak for those that were mounted on tripods.

Though I suppose it matters on the lack of compression, but I didn't see too many mini-dv tape changes.

Oh, interesting. That may change things a bit, but unlikely.

But as to what I was saying:

Basically Gaia, think really awesome cameras that are maxed out at 1080 P. Like you can't scale down/compress at all and be in HD. For web video, it's perfectly fine, and frankly it's going to look great, but the fidelity required by a Blu-ray is just going to be higher.

Beautiful photos! The projections above the stage are much clearer here than they seemed to be on the night.

Yeah, it's so clear because a fair bit of post-processing went into that to make sure it was clear and bright, lol. In fact, I only got a few photos, right at the beginning where the window was beautifully illuminated, and I just chopped it out of one of those photos and put it in that photo, haha.

Duuuude, have you got any bigger versions - could do with one of those as my work wallpaper to cheer me up over the next few weeks?!

Haha, well, as it happens I'm sorting out some high-res versions for one of the band members who wants a copy, so I shall post it in here when it's ready.
