well, lucky you. I only got about 120 or so! lol There's soooooo many of them. I almost feel like I'm playing The Saboteur again where there's 109474579 things to do

Yeah, it's very like the obsession I developed trying to blow up all the Nazi fittings, now you mention it!! Game is way better than the first, and that's saying something cos Arkham Asylum was amazing. They did fling a few too many villains in without giving them enough time and attention but that'd probably be my only complaint really. Lovin' it otherwise and the Catwoman DLC that I got with my version adds some nice little breaks in the gameplay and I think adds to the flow of the game a fuckload.

Due to financial RUIN I've had to cancel my Uncharted 3... Disappointing but I'll be able to wait till Christmas. I'm hoping to be able to afford Skyrim when I trade in Arkham City against it. TOO MANY GOOD GAMES.

well, it will be a nice christmas gift to yourself, I can tell ya! Uncharted 3 is awesome and incredibly addictive. I had the chance to play it yesterday for the first time and played it for 6 hours  Played it for another 3 hours today and finished it! Of course it would have been nice if I had taken my time and hadn't played the shit out of it in 2 days but I just couldn't stop. There's some of the best action sequences in this game that you'll ever get to see in a video game. It's often like a constant adrenaline rush. And the characters...you just fall in love with them even more. And even if it only took me 9 hours to play through it, it did seem like a lengthy campaign and didn't feel like it was too short.

It sure is pretty, but after the let down of GT4, I'll hold further opinions untill we have a better idea of what the gameplay is like.

Well to me it was a definite let down, and most of the people I know who played it would say it's their least favorite of the GTA series.
The game was a great success anyways, and reviews aggregators seems to indicate GT4 was better than the 2 previous full releases.
I guess I could have phrased that differently.

I've spent years hoping and praying for a return to something like San Andreas, because it's still my favourite video game world ever. The fact that they are actually going back to San Andreas is just... I don't even know. Such jubilation. Such impatience. I NEED IT NOW. I NEED TO GO RAMP OFF THAT FUCKING SEXY NEW LOOKING MOUNT CHILIAD RIGHT. FUCKING. NOW.

Dissection of the trailer here (click the images and read the captions). I for one am definitely looking forward to this re-invented San Andreas.

Hell yeah! Again with the great timing. On Saturday I found my copy of San Andreas and started up again, unaware that V was going to return to SA.

IV gets my vote as a great game and very much worthy of its place in the series. The voice acting and storytelling is excellent and it turned the gameplay up a notch.

That said I do hope that, given that V is on the same gaming architecture as IV, the designers really work on providing some really new gameplay ideas.

I've just looked at my "still waiting to play these games" list.

Mass Effect (in progress)
Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood (in progress)
Mass Effect 2
Fallout: New Vegas
Portal 2
L.A. Noire
Mortal Kombat
Forza 4
Batman: Arkham City
Assassin's Creed: Revelations (release this month)
Saints Row 3 (release this month)
Hitman Absolution (release date unknown)
Grand Theft Auto 5 (release date unknown)

I can't keep up, it's maddening. :(

I know, first world problems, right?

As for Ultimate Fallout NV... yesss. Only 3 months to wait. Perhaps I can cross something off my list in the meantime.

If you're one of the dudes who LOVED San Andreas but was tweaked about scaling down of the sandbox content of the game in IV, I'd politely agree. HOWEVER, I think R* learned the lesson with this one (Jets/Planes seem to be in, aptly omitted from the previous game). Hell, they even remedied this problem somewhat with the Gay Tony expansion.

I played Mass Effect for four and a half hours today while I was couch ridden. Feels like I got absolutely nowhere...
