regarding ME3: well, I don't think you'll do any of the co-op stuff within the single player campaign. I'm expecting something more along the lines of Call of Duty's Spec Ops mode or Gears of War's horde mode. So this won't be Mass Effect meets World of Warcraft. That's why I don't think it's a big deal. I don't think it will use up a lot of recources as it will probably just re-use parts of maps from the single player campaign. Mass Effect 2 has been on 2 DVDs anyways and I'm sure there was enough space remaining on both discs to sneak in some MP material. Besides, developers have more space to use on DVDs now when it comes to Xbox 360 games, probably gives them an additional 2 Gigs. AND the game could even be spread out on 3 DVDs, you never know. And there's a whoopin' 50Gigs on a Blu-Ray disc. So yeah, I'm not really worrried.

and I'm VERY much looking forward to Arkham City. Pre-ordered it and can't wait to play it! Arkham Asylum was awesome and this one should be even better!

and tomorrow I'll pick up Dead Rising 2: Off the record...time for some more Frank West awesomeness!

Playing a Batman game I kinda expect to feel badass and be able to mow down the thugs and such, but it was not so, most likely due to my hasu gaming skills, but still. Combat was boringly difficult and repetitive, and that's coming from an avid Diablo player.

Wow, you and your buddy are alone in that. My favorite non-RPG of this generation by far.

Meh I was hoping I'd like that game, but it was not meant to be, and I did not feel it offered anything really worthwhile to me.
But I've never been one to enjoy those stealth games, and I recall being stuck trying to stealth past some guy, and just giving up for some more gratifying gaming experience.
Even tried to watch a Let's play of it, but that was not much better.
My friend is a Batman nuts btw, collecting the books, toys, comics, movies etc...

Does not sell me on the multiplayer, I get the feeling I'll be compelled to do it, but that it won't really add anything to the game, kinda like scanning planets for ressources.
Still getting the game for sure, but I just hate games that add mulitplayer so they can add it as a bullet point ...

it has been confirmed that it'll include EA's online pass and like I said, I think that's the reason why there's a multiplayer part in this game. And I think the multiplayer part is the reason why the game's release was delayed. When it comes to ME3 I don't think EA's online pass strategy makes sense though. No one buys Mass Effect 3 for the multiplayer mode so if someone decides to buy the game used, he's not gonna buy the online pass for this game. That might work for a game like Battlefield 3 but not for ME3.

edit: Game Informer gives Arkham City 100/100

I was annoyed already with the video "HERP DERP THIS IS A GREAT WAY TO START WITH MULTIPLAYER"

Shiram: I'm going to continue to think you're insane about Batman.

I'll probably give the second one a try at one point or another.

I found some some gift money I hadn't spent and put it towards New Vegas. So I won't watch the clip!

It's as buggy as all hell but it's sweet so far!

Random phrase from a clothes merchant I heard yesterday in AC: Brotherhood while murdering moving things: "No more itchy codpieces!"

Needless to say, I bought his entire stock.
