Right? It was so damn good, the bacon wasn't crispy so much as juicy so it gave it this really nice smoky juicy flavor. And it was nice and medium rare. My mouth is watering right now just thinking about it...

So after what seemed like forever, gathering all my personal information, academic records, filling out paperwork, smashing together a portfolio, writing a letter sucking up to people, blah blah blah...I've applied for uni in Brisbane. I had to put two different applications in, only found out a portfolio was required a week before it was due, and when I went to post it all off I missed the next-day express post deadline by 10mins...but it's done. It's done, and there's nothing I can do about it. Eep.

Hugest combination of excited and completely freaked out.

But all in all very awesome, so you've stuck it in the right place! Good luck with it, although I'm sure you won't need any.

Sylkicks, you're killing me. I MISS PROPER BURGERS SO MUCH.

Actually we do have a couple of decent burger joints here, they just cost a bunch more. Grr.

Awesome: The generosity of friends and family. We've been bombarded with gifts for our son-to-be, even though we'd never ask for anything. Genuinely lovely stuff.

And I was in the second tent watching Bleeding Through completely oblivious. Boooo.

I saw SYL! It was stunning. All I could concentrate on was the tremendous phlegm goblin gradually moving around Dev's face and hair...beautiful...

I might be seeing Neil Buchanan's band tonight. That's awesome.

And since that little green monster has been immortalized forever in concert footage from the show, children many generations from now may have the chance to experience the awesome gooey substance in all it's glory.

What happened? You trapped him in the basement?
