So my really cool boss is having a baby boy, and being that I don't really have the scratch to buy her baby things, I gave her a 1970's Spider-Man comic book where he takes on a Disco bandit known simply as the "Hypno-Hustler." It's just way too funny, and the cover artwork is brilliant.

it's finally time to bust out the trenchcoat! this is additionally exciting because after an ACTUAL lifetime of searching for an ACTUAL trenchcoat that fits my short, narrow-shouldered self, i found one last spring for $12 and it's been sitting in my closet waiting... soon... SOON. cold! rainy! YYYAAAAAYYYYY.
too bad i don't have any wet weather shoes anymore... the good boots are no longer good... at least i have a few pairs of chucks, because one pair is always dry. and this is how i spend my winter looking like jay and/or silent bob.

I just became and Auntie for the second time yesterday and have my first nephew - sooo can't wait to see him!

I've slept all night! For the first time in a week! though one of the nurses woke me up just to ask me if I was sleeping, and I was like "what the fuck, yes! But not anymore!" But then I fell asleep again! Yay!

Haha yes and!!!!!!! Just got the news that I'm getting released tomorrow, yaaaay! I'll be a free woman again! Celebrating with champagne and tacos (good combo lol) on Saturday.

I slept a whole 7 hours last night and nobody mentioned how tired I looked. Success! Also a first time in a while. My inner clock is slowly going where I want it. Hang in there Silje sleep deprivation sucks.
