korn must be doing alright if they're still around. that skrillex collab is awful though, haha. I also don't understand the hard-on everybody has for Skrillex these days. This is the same guy that has a song that repeats the line "I.... am... Skri....lex" over and over. I think it's called I Am Skrillex

"My Name Is Skrillex", actually. I used to love his stuff but I got sick of it when everyone started listening to it over and over.

Well. just got back from "phase two," and it looks like the job is mine! They are going to do a background check and I had to have a drug test, but if they comeback clean, I'm in! I really have nothing to worry about since I have a spotless background and have never used. That doesn't mean shit won't go wrong, though. lol

The pay isn't great. A lot less than I was making before I moved from Colorado, but more than I was expecting to start at here in California.

A lot of people in my life were not supportive of my family's move back to California. When we finally decided to go, we just started packing and I put in a month's notice at my old job. Everyone kind of flipped out. "Do you have a place to live?" "Do you have a job?" "The economy is shit! You'll never find work!" "Are you fucking stupid?" "How will you support your family?"

It was impulsive, for sure. California is our home, though. The move to Colorado we made over 5 years ago was a huge mistake. We were miserable, and we'll never get that time back, but we are making up for it now. Just as long as things keep falling in place, that is. lol

That's fucking awesome! I hope everything works out well for you guys!

In other news, a lot of people here seem to think I'm Canadian. I met this chick the other night, and she was like, "You're Canadian, right?" Made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. haha

Canadians ARE awesome! I hope to one day live there! My friends aren't exactly fans, but they don't know what they're missing. They do this thing where they all talk in Australian accent after a certain street talk with the beards video. Even though it is hilarious (they all get drunk and and yell, MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATE, WE'RE HAVING SUCH GOOD TIMES RIGHT NOW!!") I can't pull it off, so I work more of a subtle Canadian accent. It's more believable and just as fun. :D

I'm a fan of Dev's accent, but that's a given. I like the Nova Scotia accent as well. I've watched so much Trailer Park Boys and seen Hobo with A Shotgun so many times that I unknowingly say things in that accent sometimes.
