Yeah, I'm not much of one either, and I think that's why I love green chiles. You can get them nuclear hot but they honestly I think that ends up killing it. If the spice outweighs the flavor then your mouth is just on fire and what fun is that? A happy medium, methinks. The "state question" here (yes, we have a state question  ) is red or green, and I'm definitely a green man, such a unique flavor. Really, I think I'd only pick red in Huevos Rancheros or Enchiladas. Not that reds bad, just green is superior. And YES, I must have them on my eggs or it's bleh. For shiram, salsa's my alternative when I run out of chiles/am too lazy to buy more :D .
Where'd you go in NM JuZ? I find most people, namely those in my own country, don't know we're even a state, so...

Definitely green. I lived in Albuquerque for a couple of years recently. I miss it all the time! How long have you been there?

Had a job interview this morning, and it went really well. I just received a call-back, and they told me that I am definitely at the top of the list, and they want me to go in tomorrow for what they called "phase two" of the process. So far, so good!

Sweet! Congrats Paul! Fingers crossed everything else goes as well... :D

Similar good news for me. I was offered an internship this morning that I needed to get to qualify for the Masters Degree course I want to do in September 2012... Delighted.

Final year project: Investigation into the mixing of contemporary metal.

Tutor for said dissertation: Mark Mynett - experienced performer and producer of metal, currently doing a PhD in metal production, and occasionally writing articles on metal production for 'Sound On Sound'.

My course rules.

To JuZ: nice, nice. Yeah... Roswell is nothing special at all. Haven't been in years but remember it being incredibly schlocky with it's one claim to fame. The Caverns are awesome, I lived in Carlsbad for about two years as a kid. They're really fascinating and one of a kind. And yeah, you really have to be big on deserts to live/visit here. I'm more of a forest-y sort of guy myself, but I do love the desert in a different way. The sunsets we get are unparalleled anywhere else I've been, largely due to the fact that there's nothing for miles obstructing your vision :D I think I'd pick NM desert over AZ any day though, we get hot and dry but not to the unbearable levels of our neighbors.

To lunarsea: I've lived here most of my life, I was born in Utah but have pretty much lived here give or take a year here and there for the last 16 years. I mostly lived about a half hour outside ABQ for majority of that time but have actually lived here for the past 3 years due to school.

To ppinkham:congrats! Hope all goes well.

Looks like I will be within my pathetically tiny budget this week. AWZUM.
And so far... I really like my book on biological psychology. Let's hope it stays that way.The last one was HEAVY.
