and when it comes to tea, i aint picky. though i have a soft heart for apple-flavoured/scented ones, even more if it has cinnamon.

Yes, I LOVE tea shops. You have inspired me to find one today.

The amount of inspiration in this thread has also inspired me to have a cup of tea.

Brrrraaaghlerarghle...Do want! Been to some epic Chinese tea shops in London and (far less auspicious) Scunthorpe. 'Effing love green or jasmine tea as it should be. Always blows my mind to think how regardless of the passing of thousands of years, the same taste/scent is still enjoyed today. Mental.

I tried to become a tea person awhile back, and while I quite like tea, I realized I'm far too impatient for it. I WANT MY DRINK NOW DAMMIT! How instant gratification has ruined me. Some of the suggestions in this thread though have me a-thinkin...

Isn't that gravy?

Gravy as a noun, not an adjective.

Damn, I'm late to the tea thread!

I drink copious amounts at work and try to keep a good collection at hand to suit the mood.

In colder weather I like chai or an orange and ginger blend for a pick-me-up. When it's warmer I go for the fruit teas like raspberry, blackberry etc. Love the contrast between the sweet smell and the tangy, fruity flavor. I have a jug with an infuser for iced tea. A chilled berry tea in there with a splash of honey or sugar... Perfect to beat the heat.

Always have the breakfast teas at hand for a "normal" cuppa (especially when biscuits are involved).

And the all time favorite is Earl grey. Geeky as it is, Captain Picard got me to try it with the whole "Tea. Earl grey. Hot" thing. Tried it, loved it, drink it most days.

Oh yeah and there's a good tea that's naturally low in caffeine without being treated. Daintier tea, grown here near the Daintree Forest.
