fact. it's so hard to not get caught up in the bullshit but it happens.... it's good to get away and be with friends though, which is what i did tonight.

i got hit by a car on my bike earlier this year. a hit-and-run. scary shit, man. smashed my bike to pieces, but i was ok save for a couple bumps and bruises, and it sounds like you came out alright too... right?

Yeah it happened like... wait a second I'm 22... 7-8 years ago. I was drunk and someone stole my bike from behind my back while I was peeing :D Tried to stop a car and ask if they had seen anyone cycling into x direction. No, I wasn't in the middle of the road. The guy was maybe looking somewhere else and didn't see me or did a panic break and slide into me. Winter in Finland dark and slippery. I went into a shock (blacked out a second before it hit me, no memory of it whatsoever) and was talking to a phone the whole time. My friend and I just laughed our asses of when I crawled out from street picked up my phone and told what happened. So in a nutshell I was an idiot but got really lucky and broke NOTHING. Didn't even get a headache. What's the word for "drunk luck" in english?

Oh and the guy who stole my bike? Cycled past me when I was walking home the day after. 10 METERS FROM MY HOUSE. The guy almost peed himself when I yelled him to stop and tried my keys :D God I wish I had took a picture of him.

HAHA! that's crazy. did you get your bike back???
the guy who hit me left me laying in the street and drove off without knowing if i was ok or not. after a few minutes i realized i was alright and carried to busted bike to the nearest phonebooth, waved down a cop and called my family... my knee is still kind of borked, but it could be worse... my joints are getting old and creaky anyway.

I hope it isn't anything to do with that weaponised ebola/smallpox hybrid you were exposed to the other day...:fear:

Yeah he stopped. Completely petrified when I yelled to him. Sorry for your knee, joints that big take time to heal but they will eventually get better.

Nah, that would not have such a delayed reaction. Although today I learned I need to do measurements for which I'll be using the lovely hexafluoroisopropanol as solvent, which besides being very smelly is also highly corrosive. So in a few weeks I'll be down a finger or two.

And smell slightly more awful.

So I pre-ordered a video game on amazon.ca.
The game was released on the 12th, and having had no news of the game I checked up on the status of the order.
The shipping estimate is on the 16th, and delivery estimates for the 20th. SO what did I gain by pre-ordering? Even more annoying is the tiny banner saying that if I order now I could get the game on the 15th with priority shipping.
Really hating amazon right now, but I don't know of any other online store that have such an extensive inventory.

Pfffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffft.

Dude's stupid.

Anyway, so it goes, it's always a crapshoot when it comes to relationships/romance. You never know who's going to be in the right mindset at the right time for whatever.

Clumsy forgetfulness. I may have posted something on the wrong the thread by accident, and had it (thankfully) deleted by moderators, or maybe I forgot to hit post and left the page... Gotta love completely spacing out. :P

Yeah.. But I feel better now that I know how he feels, so something good came out of it :P

That's cool. The whole not knowing thing can be a tortuous experience. I always found that "first move" pretty difficult so you've got my respect!

Hehe, thanks.. I figure it's better to be honest in the early stages, instead of when I'm actually head over heels :P Not as painful. Hehe.

Man, I know, that air show crash...why in the world are there still air shows, anyway? I'm not going to research it, but isn't the amount of planes crashing at air shows unbelievably high? I'm not expressing that quite right but you know what I mean.
