Stumbled across a ton of awesome a minute ago. Someone's 25 favourite Calvin and Hobbes strips.
http://www.progressiveboink.com/archive ... hobbes.htm

I love Calvin and Hobbes to death :D I have these memories of reading it from newspapers, cutting the strips out of the paper and gluing them to make my own books. My family went on vacation to Greece when I was six and my most vivid memory is reading Calvin and Hobbes at the beach and it inspiring me and my older brother to collect two buckets full of snails and the snails invading our hotel room at night. I remember me almost forcing my friends to read the comic. I remember waiting for the library bus in the rain and almost pissing myself when there were new Calvin and Hobbes books! I remember hearing from my brother that his friends older brother owned them all. It made such an impression back then :D

Bill Watterson is such a cool guy. Where Jim Davis raped Garfield for money Bill actually fought against cashing in on the strip. And look at that sunday strip above. Look how the panels are arranged. You never see that anywhere. I know it's just a comic but it's the first thing that made me "get" visual arts. When I finally buy that bookshelf I have to buy all the books in english.

OH, STU! YOU DOG! :D

I am currently dressed up as a cow, that's awesome.

Discovered a fantastic replacement for Plasti-Kote spray paint (like, £13 a can) in the form of Montana Gold (£5 a can!). Yeah, it sounds like an illegal substance; but it's awesome. Plasti-Kote is enamel-based and it refuses to set on certain surfaces, but Montana Gold is acrylic-based (which as far as I know is a relatively new thing for spray paint) and so far the tests I've done with it have had positive results! :D AND IT'S CHEAPER!

Faffy's coming to study in London, so now I have me a Norski on demand.

I have a cracking cuppa tea.

Mostly feeling awesome.

A pic is in the "What do you look like" thread!

There is also a video of me shaking them all out (I had to walk out side, trying not to knock them out. It was suspenseful) , I'll try and get that up eventually!

The shaking out of the beardpicks. On the way outside it was a struggle to keep them from falling out, which is why it looks a bit fucked on the one side.

I got into a camp for severely disabled kids which our school runs. I will be feeding, bathing, changing and running after a child for three days, starting the day after I get the results for my final exams. Woo!

It's not going to be smooth sailing, but it's pretty cool.

Been sick for a while, not that awesome of course but since I've had such a severe cough I have not smoked for over a week. The cough is now slowly disappearing and hopefully I can remain non-smoker. 8)

Oh, and I'm now a proud owner of two axolotls! Cute little bastards they are.
