Honestly? It disgusts me to write this but I think violent entertainment is to be blamed a little here. No I don't think that's even a tenth of the reason why that scumbag did this. But still.

If anything positive is to be found in this maybe the people in northern europe start to think twice about who they vote for. The rise in extreme this, extreme that has me worried. She was still a human being, and someone's daughter. For all we know, some of the people killed by the gunman may have had it coming, too. I didn't know any of them, but I've experienced the loss of loved ones many, many times. It doesn't matter how or why, it always hurts.

That's my position too pretty much. What I meant was that it seems that people have been desensitized to violence. Our monkey brain is supposed to be concerned only of our own little tribe. Yeah. But I'm not too worried about that and completely against banning games. The extreme right wing populism is what truly scares me. I'm 22 years old. The wall was teared down the year I was born. My generation has no connection to war whatsoever and through media war has been universally glorified for the first time since ww1. Maybe that's not how it'll go down but I fear something horrible is going to happen within the next 50 years.
