Oh the beauty! Oh the flow! I absolutely love all the country/folk this amazing album pulls of so eloquently mixed in with the most soothing tunes I've ever heard!

The album starts so gently and soothingly after the madness of Deco. When Feather reaches it pinnacle, the album makes me raise my hands up in the air and squeeze them to fists and scream: "COSMIC POWERS AND INFINITE LOVE, LISTEN TO THIS, FUCKERS!" And to my amazement the feeling doesn't waver until the last notes have faded away! Then I spin the album again and feel the same emotions again and again!

10/10. Not everybody's cup of tea, but to me, perfect! Thank you Dev yet again for delivering such honest and truthful music to the world.

What are the dolls? Ghosts? Why are they all women and why do some of them look more human than others (e.g. realistic breasts) ? Does it signify anything? Is there any meaning to it at all? Or just abstract poopery... the mind buckles

Dev said it was based on a dream he had, so I imagine there isn't all that much significance other than it is based on what he remembers from the dream, and the vibe fit what Ghost 2 is to him.

Not trying to detract from how calming and beautiful Ghost is or anything; but holy shit, man, Watch You is like a religious experience! I loved the first four tracks of Ghost 2 that I heard, then it got to Watch You and I was just blown away entirely. Instantly became easily one of my top DTP tracks.

I'd be pretty chuffed if Devin released a couple more albums in the same vein as this Ghost 2 stuff in the future.

Will there be slipcase art for Ghost 2? I hope there will be some dark blue in it, it'd be awesom-o.

I just posted a question about Feather Lyrics in the lyrics thread, but since I'm pretty sure the lyrics I'm asking about are not written in the thread, it's a spoiler in a spoiler free zone so......re-post here! Fortunatley, my question was: "What *are* the lyrics first heard in the song and then repeated throughout, heard almost in the background? Sounds sorta like "Soul of the mind" or something similar?

I like how Watch You sounds like the ultimate creeper song! hahaha
And i really like the repeat of Stand towards the end.

Sounds like some type of yoga chanting to me. My girlfriend sings it: "Su na ma mai" and that sure sounds silly.

I FINALLY got around to listening to Ghost.

Phenomenal record, very pretty.
Not exactly the kind of record where I would listen to all of the songs individually. This is because a lot of the songs are very lengthy, paired with the fact that this is the kind of music I listen to on certain occasions.

But other than that, this is probably Devin's most 'outlandish' album to date (I mean this by the standards of his body of work so far, Devin's discography can be considered 'outlandish' to a lot of average listeners.) and that ain't a bad thing at all. A very nice album, a little slow for my tastes, but that's hardly even a nitpick.

This album and Deconstruction both further my want for Devin to compose for film. He would be fantastic, and I can just imagine something kind of like the later parts of Feather in a scene of a fantasy movie.

C'mon Dev, try put yourself out there for that kind of stuff!
If Trent Reznor can win an Oscar, I think you could too!
