I was taking a ride with a friend of mine and she was 1 meter away from driving over cat. Stupid cat!

My bicycle was stolen when I got home along with most of my neighbours bicycles... East European gangs doing raids in Norway...;(

You could try downloading a little software called "roguekiller", it supposedly kills any process that should not be running (but maybe you'll need other software then to clean the rogue).

Cheers for the info,eh! I got the nasty bugger out but now the clean up. The virus screws quite a few things up .Your files are hidden and other stuff. I'm gonna try a system restore for real... See if everything snaps back

If it doesn't work, you may look for help on some computer messageboard. It seems like there are some dudes out there hunting virus and that kind of crap 24/7.
The one who told me to use roguekiller then made me download about 5 other softwares (pre_scan, list_killem, defogger, usbfix and OTL) and post logs to clean various stuff like the registry and whatnot, to be sure the rogue was removed. Some of those tools' purpose was also to reactivate some hidden content like you're describing.

Family health concerns. Prognosis, not great. More details when my Dad finally relents and tells me them.

It's ended up being far more irritating. Apparently my grandfather went into ICU without any of the rest of the family telling me. He's just out now into the regular ward, and he's got a load of problems. I'll be visiting him shortly, but we're not sure if he's going to get better or not. Point is, dude can't live on his own anymore, even though he wants to.

So sorry to hear that. :( Losing one's health and independence really sucks.
