Signed up here mainly to keep up with Devy news, but I imagine I'll be posting every now and then, so I may as well say hi.
Hi!
Obviously a huge fan of Devy. I'm into a wide variety of musical genres and groups, but Devy's the one guy who encompasses everything I like and love, and really evokes an emotional response in me. I have the DTP logo tattooed on my wrist, and it makes me smile every time I see it. "Terria" is possibly my favourite album by him. I saw him live a few months ago, in Nottingham, and his rendition of "Deep Peace" literally brought tears to my eyes. (I know, right?) Got my pre-order in for "Deconstruction" and "Ghost", although I'll be giving those discs to my girlfriend as a reward for passing her exam. She's already promised to get me the complete DTP boxset when it comes out, hopefully in time for Christmas!
Otherwise, I have a crappy job and spend my free time playing video games, watching anime, reading (currently halfway through "A Game of Thrones", because you should always read the book before you see the screen adaptation), and occasionally writing. I have plans to write a novel at some point soon - it's all planned out and the first chapter has been written - but I never seem to have the free time or the inclination. Laziness, basically.
Well, I look forward to seeing you all around the board!
Later.
