Oh, SURE. Just 'cause he has nice thighs. And pecs. And biceps. And eyes. Well, hell, I may have just made myself gay!

*waits for Dan* ... :P

We don't have a TV thread but Game of Thrones was discussed here before so I shall say this here that if anyone else who can't handle the waiting would like to raid HBO, I'M GAAAAAME. Seriously. The wait between weeks is feckin' killing me! Watched the fourth episode last night and it continued to be all kinds of awesome and the ending was the most frustrating cliff-hanger yet. NEED MOAR.

It was a bit of a surprise wasn't it! How's he going to get out of that one? And well done the beautiful Daenerys for giving her brother a smack in the chops. I have to add that the jousting match result was quite gruesome. I'm not usually too affected by those things but that was really quite stomach churning in its simplicity. Sometimes less is more.

Yeah that jousting was fucking awesome! Simple, but it really went for the jugular.

Well, I think it's just as good on dvd/bd, 3D isn't worth extra cash. I watched Monsters today, have to admit that name can really fool you. There is monsters sure, but this is not your average giant alien movie. Somehow caught me with surprise in way that really can't say is it good or bad, different really.

On the page: lots of love for a comic book movie with African-Nordic god and ancient heroes looking like they're wearing DVD player enclosures *). Michael Cimino is setting himself on fire in this very moment.

*) didn't see it really. Actually both of the mentioned movies.

It's ok guys, it's ok.

I don't think The Deer Hunter is going to fade into critical obscurity because someone here didn't love it.

Hey hey hey, cool down... I used to like Deer Hunter but that was two decades ago, and really can't help it but today I find it bit boring. Thor on the other hand was one of my childhood heroes so really there is no competition whatsoever. Still, now that I have watched Deer Hunter once again I can go happily forward for next ten years without and maybe then I'll find that goodness again. But until then I'll just have to rave about Avengers 8)

Fun/sad fact: Roy Scheider turned down The Deer Hunter (would've had De Niro's character) and was stuck with Jaws 2. That's show biz!

Saw Source Code tonight. Quite interesting, like Inception and Groundhog Day had a love child. Made by the director of Moon, so of course it's going to have interesting twists and ambiguity, and it does. So long as you actually pay attention and allow yourself to ponder the story, you'll likely walk away satisfied. I sure did.
