So, Traestorz. Is it a renamed track on the album?
it's a type of boot polish

Very tempted...
But I waited this long. We'll see if I can hold out.

I think it's Stand.

It's the same scenario Dev faced with SYL. If he kept making albums like 'City' when his heart wasn't in it, then that would truly be "selling out." However, if he kept the band together and recorded the DTP stuff as SYL, people would have freaked.
People put their expectations on artists, and as much as they say they love and appreciate what they do, it usually isn't true. They just love and appreciate the part that fits their ideal of what they want the artist to look/sound like. It has to fit this certain genre, under this label, always. If it doesn't, then fuck those guys! They suck! lol
This! I could not have said it better myself. I've seen so many on the internet expecting another chaotic blastfest á la SYL. There are many that are disappointed a bit, hell I'll admit that even I was disappointed after the first listen because I expected another Alien. But now knowing that Devin did not even intend it that way and he sees heaviness in another light than 5 years ago.
That's the way I can appreciate the album. Still if asked to choose between Alien or Decon I would take Alien. At the end of the day it's personal preference.
Hi,
First, I want to thank you Devin for this amazing record, and keeping it honest by straying from the norm and sticking it to the Metal establishment. I'll preorder both albums on the 16th and plan on getting the boxset as soon as the preorder for this comes up.
Secondly, I wanted to tell you guys that the 192kbps rip of Deconstruction does not do justice to the colossal production of this album. I just picked up the 320kbps rip and I hear a lot more layers, I can actually hear the guest singers and everything sounds 10x more immense and less noisy. I don't usually bother with bitrates but this record has simply too much going on at once to listen at anything less than 320kbps.
Thanks

My flight got canceled so now Im stuck at the airport for the next 5 hours waiting around, gonna give it a couple of uninterrupted listens.
Wow, what an amazing achievement! To me, Deconstruction is the closest thing to the embodiment of mania ever captured on a recording. It's a sonic mindfuck full of racing thoughts, mixed emotions, and the pursuit of omniscience
. It's incredible. I can now truly understand and appreciate how mentally and emotionally draining it must have been to make this masterpiece. I admit, some of it made me feel a bit uncomfortable and as I suspected, I found myself yearning for Ghost at the end. After the last note of Poltergeist, I immediately put on Feather, as it's the only sample from Ghost that I have. Within the first minute I nearly started crying from the mixed emotions that Decon had stirred up within me contrasted with the sheer beauty, peace, and tranquility of Feather.
First day buyer for sure and can't wait for the box set!!!!!
Well fucking done Dev, well done.
All the performers too, guests, the prague symphony and choir, everybody...a truly amazing job.
Looking forward to seeing it live!

I know it's going to be the thing that some people hate, but I freaking love it.
The raging that goes against the human experience during the mighty masturbator, holy hell.
I love electronic stuff.
You should check a band called OSI if you have not heard of them.
back on topic: smelly farts

Oh boy.
I'm guessing the source can be traced then?
Either way, this album is really growing on me...4th listen and its really starting to click.
I love how ideas start to materialize only to be ripped away to head off on another tangent.
