^^^^EDIT: Did it actually leak or did you find one of those fake leaks?

God! I love that "Shower the world....." part!
Just gives me goosebumps.
I'm sorry but I have listened to this track many times already but I have not gotten sick of it yet, judging from this one track, Deconstruction might just be the one album that defines my musical taste (and possibly define me).

When is Devin going to go big so he can endorse Deconstruction as the first extreme metal musical on Broadway? :P

It was posted but no one has gotten it yet because the site appears to be down right now. The site in question is pretty reliable so I'd say its leaked but I won't grab it until its been pre-ordered.

Yep, can confirm leak on trustworthy site. Not downloaded though, doing it so early feels kinda... wrong.
This definitely looks like the real deal, however.
Gonna try and hold out until at least Ghost is out too and I've preordered.

It's a great track but I'm sure it will work even better in the context of the record as a whole.

I'm pleasantly suprised by it though, I was expecting Decon to be a kind of metal musicial but this is far more of a metal opera to my ears. And not just because of the orchestra and choir but the way that Devin has composed the music. Even just hearing that one track, it sounds like a musical journey as opposed to a bunch of songs thrown together that tell a story.

I can hear subtle references to a lot of past work and I love it. I can't wait to take it all in with a nice set of headphones. Not long now I guess...

hmm, i've just noticed that in the beginning of Dev's instructional from Ziltoid bonus he plays riff sounding pretty similar to 'Stand'. ha, was that riff composed 4-5 years ago?

Yo skrimps, Dev himself said it's not for everybody, and like with all of his releases, not everyone's going to like it... while I haven't listened to the track yet (BECAUSE I'M NOT A DIRTY DIRTY CHEATER AND ALL OF YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED. SHAME ON YOU ;)) I think it's fine that Moonburp feels the way he does.

There's going to be at least a few here who aren't enchanted, and that's okay. What I will say is that Dev's music is dense, and early impressions don't often reflect their final assessment (YOU KNOW, KI) so it's all okay.

Just my 2 cents.
