I'm going to say this again for emphasis. I can't control what I can't see, but I can control people asking for people to PM them on the forum directly. First, it's a grey area. Second, it kills topic discussion when it's just a billion people asking for an unreleased track. Finally, frankly, it comes across as needy and annoying

However you lads and ladies go about your business elsewhere or discuss the tracks themselves on here is okay.

So if pms aren't cool then what is the easiest way to change your ip address to one in Finland so that the link works?

I look at it like this: Dev posts here. It gets quoted in the press sometimes. As such, it is beneficial for the label to look and go "Aww look! There are a bunch of copyright-law abiding citizens sharing pictures of their kittens" as opposed to "Thieves! Thieves! Thieves and liars! Murderers! Hypocrites and lechers!" That way, they have no particular reason to place pressure on anybody official to distance themselves by either not posting or perhaps pulling the plug on the whole shebang. The chances of either are pretty remote but avoiding them altogether is just courtesy.

seconded. If we don't hit the brakes there's gonna be 16483643 'please send me a PM' messages in this thread and that's just not the purpose of it. And no there's nothing wrong with sending whatever PM's you want with whatever content you want them to include.
