Thanks guys.

Also, I read today New Zealand had a tornado strike Auckland, and EF2 by the sounds of things.
I let some people around the office know, and one person just happened to be from that area; he bolted to his phone when I told him about it. Hope his family is ok.

I has it. :(

Well, guess I have no excuse for putting off health insurance now.

Take care of yourself - wishing you the best in figuring it out. :(

I know! I wish my dad was a washed-up country pop imbecile too so I could afford to pay a band to competently destroy part of the musical heritage of a generation she shouldn't have the right to know about.

Although, if it is just a sick joke on her part to get otherwise completely uninterested people on the net talking about it, then I blame George Takei for telling everyone about it.

But I wouldn't be mad at him for long...

Kinda reminds me of Limp Bizkit covering a Ministry song, Thieves.
I guess while playing live, artists can play any song from any band they like, but I'm not sure she is going to achieve much more than annoying some old grunge fans, and her fanbase was all probably born after Smells like teen spirit was released.

Wow, that girl can really sing. AND dance (gagging myself with my finger). Too bad she was born after the album came out - she would have been even MORE inspired.

Just had our national 2 minutes of silence because of our Memorial Day. What's un-awesome about it is the total lack of respect for this event from the foreigners living in my neighbourhood, who've just kept on partying in their backyard playing loud music. Bah, they can fuck right off. :x

Whats heavily ironic about this though is that I was born in 1990 - the only difference is, I'm still the grunge dude from way back when. I was rocking out the MLB and Pearl Jam while shitting in my pants and rubbing it in my face lol

And I totally agree that bands should be allowed to play any song they want live, and how little it'd achieve for her to play that. She would've been better off covering Journey or something (with that whole Glee/Miley crossover going on).

A fairly reasonable reaction to Pearl Jam, actually.

Grunge was an appalling heap of toss. As was Nu-Metal. The nineties were a musical disaster-era for guitar-based music.

Overgeneralising a bit, but each to their own I suppose. I still like Steve Vai's Sex and Religion though
