Ahhh! So many singers! So many bands to discover!

To add to the 'what I'm going to do when it comes out' thing we have going:

I'm going to go to a fetish shop and buy a leather costume (leather increases your aural sensitivity), buy Decon and Ghost wearing said costume, go home and close all the blinds, put on a (leather) blindfold (darkness increases your aural sensitivity) and listen to Ki all the way to Ghost (hearing increases your aural sensitivity).

During the session, I will lie at a 181 degree angle (on a leather couch) to ensure optimal positioning in the hot spot (thoroughly set up by audio technicians. Who were wearing leather.)

The exercise explained above will probably result in the best way to enjoy Decon and Ghost.

This thread is ridiculous :P My girlfriend came home a couple nights ago (works at Planet Fitness) and had to tell me about a customer name she couldn't believe...Anita Dick. Well, until June 20, I'll have two names: Anita Deconstruction and Anita Ghost... Anita them now

I once had a customer named Gaye Fagg, and I came to the conclusion that her parents hated her, but that's another story!

Wonder if I'll have tea or coffee with the music?
Maybe coffee with Deconstruction, tea with Ghost.

Promos arrived last friday. Hands were shaking, head exploded. More than 15 listens later I´m stil not quite sure if I get it. It really is not heavy as in "SYL-heavy", the heaviness comes from the overall feeling. It´s dark, scary, funny and at times totally insane. Sure there´s some parts that sound like SYL, but also stuff that reminds me of Infinity, Ziltoid and even Ki. It starts of really slow: the first two songs kinda sound like the heavier stuff on Ki. Then it bit by bit gets crazier and crazier, ending up sounding like something that Zappa could have done if he played metal. Every part is there for a reason, it´s not like "hey, let´s make complicated music just for showing that I can." This album proves that Dev really doesn´t need drugs to make music that sounds like that it´s been made under the influence. :D

Maybe it needs at least 15 more listens before I can write a proper review. But all I can say right now, the fucking thing is a masterpiece.
