Don't you "pffft" me, mister.

I didn't become a fan because of Addicted, just after it came out. Ziltoid is actually the album that set me off.

Also, how long you've been a fan doesn't affect how much you anticipate the album. Granted, you have been waiting longer than I, but I can almost guarantee you that I want these albums just as badly as you do.

just jokin around, didn't mean to offend.

Nah, you didn't, so was I :D .

Part of Deconstruction (with the actual album track [I think] for backing) was played live during the small show Dev mentioned recently on Facebook (the one he was informed he was doing not long before he had to do it). Not sure what the audience consisted of here, but I get the feeling from watching it that a chunk of them had no idea what genius stood before them. Here's the YT clip someone posted from their phone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3clXASPYdYk

Hard to tell what it actually sounds like here, but Dev's description is humorous and you can hear one of the guest vocals towards the end (he only plays a small section of the track). Almost an SYL feel to it at one point.

I really do feel for him there...if he was doing a clinic or had the band with him, it'd be awesome...if he was doing that but infront of a bunch of rabid fans, it'd be awesome.

But no, they're just like "WHY'S THAT BALD MAN DANCING. WHAT'S WITH ALL THE FARTS."

I know, right? Debuting a complete Deconstruction song for the first time, & everybody's just going :|, even leaving in the middle of it.

So far, everything I've heard from this record sounds more like Ziltoid on steroids than SYL. I've even more excited now.

It sounds more like Punky Brewster Strikes Back! Now the lyrics are making more sense XD I'm not sure if I heard him yell "PENIS!" or not...if he did,,,then that's just fine.

That clip is awesome! That crowd was shit, though. They obviously didn't get it, which isn't surprising. The music and subject matter is more than most of those folks are used to. Awkward! Dev's the ultimate performer, though. He handled the situation well.

I have a feeling this little press jaunt Dev is on is wearing him down, big time. Hopefully there aren't any more of these little surprises thrust upon him. Shit like that is mentally exhausting.

Though I am impressed at Dev's management and label's attempts at getting the man seen and heard. Leaps and bounds over what has been done in the past. It will be worth it, I'm sure.

The crowd reaction was weaksauce. The video is much better if you open it in another tab and just listen to it while looking at something else.

I'll never understand why people like that get to hear all the cool stuff first while I just have to sit and wait. I guess that's just life.

what a bassass.

All your bass are belong to him!

It sucks the crowd sucked there, I started imagining what the dudes in front of the camera were saying 'Who is this guy?' 'WAS THAT DIARRHOEA?' and it made me want to slap them. It does seem pretty unfair after a tonne of interviews to be all BAM 'here is an audience entertain them! Don't let them near the sugar or they'll get all hyperactive.'

ps. diarrhoea is really difficult to spell and I've never been more excited for any albums in my life, when the project started I was so excited and have been ever since- I think it will be a bit sad when the 'project' is done since it does feel like a journey of sorts. It is extremely wonderful that he likes to spew fourth music as much as he does poop, however with Dark Ghost and Z2
