Cryptids really interest me, especially ocean creatures. We've only explored a small part of the ocean, so why shouldn't massive Old Ones exist in the deepest depths of the deep?

And there needs to be some research on the Bloop:

Interestingly, the coordinates of the sound are similar to Rl'yeh.

Wow. That is scary.
There should be so much more research into the supernatural, it could seriously change the face of our knowledge.

I actually witnessed an apparition as a child heres the story

My neighbor (at my old acreage) killed himself by running his truck in his garage till carbon monoxide... yeah... So his best friend comes up to my door (I was watching rugrats i might have been 11-12) says he needs to use our phone (oh the age before cell phones, also brackets) calls the cops show up yeah take him away ect. It's weird the mother remarried and stayed in the house with her kids I remember them they used to take the bus with me and my bro. I would kind of think not to live in the house my husband killed himself in but hey different strokes. Ok back to the story so a few months later me and my dog were playing outside its around dusk (7 pm in september yeah northern canada sunlight) and my dog and I see this white shadowy formation by the gate. I felt goosebumps all over my body, a fear i felt not since and the apparition re appeared again this time moaning like someone beaten down and tortured. The sound was indescribable fucking horrid shit nobody should hear in their life. The apparition re appeared about 5 or 6 times till it wandered off in the bushes. My dogs books it under the deck (his little safe haven) and I'm left there alone run about 50 meters to the house fucking traumatized to shit didnt say anything the rest of that night. Still have recurring nightmares about that night like that guy wanted to tell me something to pass on to his family... yeaaah

my mom tries to tell me i was imagining it just the way my dog was acting and reacted to the situation i know in my heart what i saw havnt really experienced anything like it since...

so as far as ghosts go yeah theyre real and one kind of haunts me cool story eh

That's freaky.

My mum told me that someone in her family (I can't remember too well, it was a long time ago she told me this story and I don't know her side of the family very well) I think it may have been her aunt, had a young daughter of about four or five. One night she put her daughter to bed and went down to watch TV or whatever. Anyway, later that night when she was heading to bed, she walked past her daughter's room and heard her talking. She opened the door and the little girl was bolt upright in bed, talking away but not making any sense. She asked her daughter who she was talking to, and her voice changed, as I am told, into something so deep and demonic it just couldn't have come from a little girl like that. She was speaking in tongues or something, and the mum was so scared, she couldn't move, and she just boomed, "GET OUT! Leave her alone!" And then the girl dropped, like she'd passed out, and in the morning didn't remember anything about it, never did. The girl would be in her twenties or so now, but geez, creepy stuff.

the subject of the supernatural/unknown world fascinates me,always love watchin those ghost programs on the Travel Channel and whatnot. Living in New Jersey you tend to hear alot of legends about tunnels that lead to Hell, the Jersey Devil etc. and me and a few friends usually try to look for stuff like that. We usually come up empty handed but the adventure of it all is always worth the trips :) one time a friend and myself drove up to the abandoned parts of Greystone insane Asylum which is only about 20 minutes from where we live. So we park the car in the parking lot of this one empty building and just sat there staring at each and every window for about a 1/2 hour. Keep in mind we're listening to Sunn O))) so that added to the creepiness factor :P long story short we thought we saw where eyes staring back at us in the top window in the dark and both just started freaking out. Whether it was our imagination because we really wanted to see something or the fact that maybe we did actually see something we'll never know but it was a very creepy experience haha. I've always been interested in the unknown things of the world/universe and hopefully we can discover some really cool things in the future. In the meantime, no matter how creepy legens and the supernatural may be you can't ever forget about the creepiness that already exists like giant centipedes

Some friends I know out in Michigan claim they have a couple of ghosts in their home. They've even recorded some of the voices they hear. One sounds like a child, the other an adult. Freaky.

Fuuuu-

I couldn't stay in a house that I thought was 'haunted'. Dat shit freaks the shit outta me.

I loved that stuff when I was younger. I even collected magazines and books about UFOs, full of delightfully atmospheric, fuzzy photos of flying things and crazy witness' relations. It was awesome.

Now we have 21st century, there are cameras everywhere (some of mobile cameras can do really decent photos and movies), information's flow's barely obstructed and there really aren't any excuse to NOT discover and show amazing shit from time to time. Yet all the "evidence" we have is still fuzzy photos, awful, shaky videos and useless anecdata. There's even millon dollar challenge for anyone able to prove their paranormal skills - money's untouched. Looks like world's boring and predictable. I hate it, and it actually makes me angry to see the next nutter trying to prove existence of alien visitors by drawing arrows on shitty overcompressed mpeg clips or showing viral video for a crappy movie, ruining another opportunity to strip the world off boredom. Shot some decent bit of aliens with your 720p smartphones, you assholes! Bend the spoon without touching it!

Sure there are incredible deep sea creatures, arsenic microbes and nine hundred new species of spiders being found every year. But deep sea creatures are too distant for me to ever meet, microbes are too abstract and a new, however colorful kind of spider is still kinda tame compared to Indrid Cold predicting disasters or grey men hijacking cows :(

/rant off. I'm going to cry in the pillow and dream of Chupacabra

In my humble opinion I think the most obscure, realistic creatures are the undiscovered deep sea creatures.

I love how tales of sea monsters totally weren't exaggerations.
