Hey guys Wosko here I was just thinking I like movies. And you guys probably like movies too . So I think we should post good movies in this thread that would otherwise be overlooked by others. I don't know of many good underground/ indie films and I suppose you guys would! This can be any type of movie too post a review, post about movies that are good, movies that changed your life, ect. if there is a thread for this already my apologies but i find myself going through IMDB and trying to find something to watch. Hopefully this catches on or something lol I thought it was a good idea


anyways I just saw Animal Factory with Edward Furlong really good movie about a young guy gets caught up in the drug world gets busted and sent to prison and an older immate takes him under his wing so to speak and shows him the ropes of prison life. I really enjoyed it it seems Furlong has a talent for playing criminals/ neo nazis ect (American History X). I give it 8 marshmallows out of 10 marshmallows

I'll plug a few,

Ichi the Killer, from Takashi Miike, of a highly disturbed murderer who clashes with the Yakuza, and is in the sights of a sadomasochistic gangster named Kakihara, himself highly feared in the underworld. Awesome.

Mary and Max, a claymation story of a lonely girl in Australia who starts a pen pal relationship with an overweight New Yorker with Asperger's. Gets me every time.

The Bridge - documentary about people who commit suicide by jumping from the Golden Gate Bridge. Very insightful, but IMO not at all exploitive. Some lives were also saved during filming.
