wow this is shaping to be really amazing. gotta admit i was a little worried that the vocals could ruin the instrumentals i heard months ago but i'm really impressed w/ how things are turning out. the only advice i'd give (if you're looking for any) is as long as you don't overdo the effects on the vocals, it will sound good. some effects are ok interspersed but too much and it just ends up sounding cheesy imo. but i freaken love this song as is!

Yeah. The more I listen, the more I think I have to tone it down a bit in the verses...the levels on some are a bit high, I was meaning to keep alot of those crazy fugue style vocals in the background more.

I have been messing with a basic instrument mix of Furor with my new drums and some new plugins. I have to say...shit, I dunno what to say! It sounds amazingly tight and heavy as shit. There are cymbals in wrong places though, so as soon as I can get my midi note situated I'll post something.

It seems Paramount will take less time than I thought. It's not like Stimulus, which was written very experimentally and stream of conscious style. I am speaking vocally of course, since all the music has been written for some time now. Paramount is writing itself. It makes sense, cuz the song has a very familiar and catchy vibe. So, that said...ugh. My next goal, *long breath*....this semester will be long, but I purposely only signed up for 8 credits so I have more time for the album, and I also have three day weekends all fall. Add Christmas break to that, and I reckon I can have this thing fully written and recorded...maybe even mixed...by the end of the year. Would I like it to be sooner? Damn skippy. I originally wanted to have AT LEAST everything recorded by end of summer, but trigonometry put a stop to that. But, summer was also a shorter semester, so it was harder. No matter what, I haven't...and will not falter at moving forward to get this done. It has just grown and grown so much since the inception, and gotten so much more vast in scope than I ever thought possible...I just want it to be the best it can be.
