If you happen to find any of it, the soulful stuff she did when she was younger is really rather nice. I just get bored/angry/annoyed at the stuff she does now.

I worked at a Virgin Megastore (RIP) for three years, and one thing I'd do is make sure at least one copy of any given album (Physicist aside, I could never get it ordered for some reason) was in stock.

That's funny, cause I've tried a few times to get a copy of Physicist ordered in for my other half,to no avail. It's his favourite album and he too is trying to collect 'em all.

At least your HMVs stock more than I've seen here, we don't have HMV where I am although there is one in the next town up north, but none of the Sanity stores (which I think are owned by the same corp that own HMV) stock any Devy at all (Bar SYL). There's another chain we have that gets a lot of imports, but even in those stores I've only ever seen Addicted and Ki.

A recurrent thing I'm noticing is that as soon as an artist goes "mainstream" or offers something that's either hyped up a lot or looks like it will appeal to the masses, stores begin stocking the artist, but they only ever get the newer albums. I saw this happen in Sanity with a number of my other favourite artists, I had to go elsewhere to get the earlier stuff. I think stores are doing this to Devy a) because Addicted was pretty much announced as being a more pop-rocky, mainstream record, and b) The hype over this four-album series probably made them decide to stock it. Or, I could be wrong and after stocking Addicted, stores thought Ki was going to be a similar sort of thing.

Addicted was released on Century Media only I think, not via HDR. They're probably not getting anything via HDR.

HMV here has had The New Black, Ki and Addicted in stock when they were first released. Sometimes they'll have a few other albums, but never everything. Addicted even had a yellow "Charts" divider sign when I saw it. The HMV site has a lot of stuff, so maybe some of the bigger stores carry more albums.

I think Inside Out is now part of Century Media. And since Addicted was a more mainstream album which would appeal to more people, I believe Dev decided to not release it via HDR but let CM do all the work.

Curiosly I can't be annoyed by her, there's something that makes me think she has her shit well together. She may look weird, make these annoying pop tunes but somehow she doesn't look like a person that will end up as a Britney-grade catastrophe. She's a talented person with penchant for audiovisual trolling I think.

(Of course my mild stance on this topic might by caused by my good skillz at avoiding her music and related gossip - but snippets I've seen/heard about her don't make me very negative)

I happen to like Lady Gaga. I have her album, just haven't listened to it. Maybe I'm not sick of her because I pay very little attention to Top 40 radio. Based on live performances from several awards shows I've seen over the past year or so, she's definitely got talent.

My honest opinion of Lady Gag can be summed in two words:

GO AWAY.

That is just my opinion however.
