i also made this experience. at first i was really sad and disappointed, but in the end it enabled me to appeciate my few, but really true friends even more than i did before. those people who are always there, no matter what happens. those are the ones that matter - although, no question about that, it hurts to lose friends - especially when you lose them because they can't cope with something YOU suffer from.
it also helped me to realize that there are different types, or stages of friendship. i knew that before, of course, but it was just all "clearer" then. maybe, at least it was like that in my case, some types and stages of friendship just can't cope with "problems"...
and at the end of this post i don't really know what i actually wanted to say... i think too much... this is also something i miss - being able to stop thinking... just sometimes... that would be great...
