This too, for me...only just having the ability to make friends at all would be nice. It would appear I have none. :(

I'm not sure I understand though, Amber...you seem such a sweet girl, doesn't sound right that you'd lose friends!

Canada. My homeland. I miss it like hell and with each passing day/month/year I miss it more and more.

I would love to be able to walk into a store even a sev again and be serviced in English. I love to laugh and joke but the Finns just don't get it when I start joking around in English. Where is the fun us Canadians love so much? I guess it can be only had at home.

It must sound very weird wanting to be served in English again but believe me after 5 years in a foreign country you'll miss the average person speaking your mother tongue.

I assume you mean soccer, but geez if you ever had that much then I envy you, over here they air rugby union/league (feel free to correct, I don't know the bloody difference) and Aussie rules, and we get them each probably once/twice a week max. And that's if you've migrated to HD telly. Sport coverage of everything here sucks.

.....

Still, we only got that on HD channels. If you were an aussie with analog TV, you didn't know what the world cup was.
Unless you had internet, then it was a different story. Heh.

Oh! Oh! I have a new one!

A decent bloody sleeping pattern. Or the ability to sleep, in fact. :coucou:

The good old days when friends were friends and not parasites who stab you in the back when opportunity arises.

Oh, and Murder Burger in California. Nearly 15 years but I can still taste that excess like it was right in front of me...
Dammit I'm hungry now.

...and when men were men, women weren't men and little girls weren't FBI agents.

I also miss the illusion I'm reasonably clever and unique. Another thing I've been stripped of by the internet. Fuck you, internet!

I actually miss the chronic insomnia I suffered all my life up until about 9 years ago. I used to accomplish so much more then. lol

1) Playing in a band. I miss the creation of music with other people, and the rushing of playing it to an audience.
2) College. Structured days and free studios to play in and record in. Admitidly, I can record and play at home, but I lack the structure.

Ditto to number 1, the live part. although, that should be fixed soon.

Nay to number 2. (Inb4 toilet humor). I want college to be OVERWITH for the summer.

PS- I miss my mom.

In keeping with the recurring theme of cereal, I miss Oreo-O's. I was never a big fan of those ultra-sugary "snack food" cereals like Cookie Crisp and Cinnamon Toast Crunch (luckily for my teeth's well-being), but something was different about Oreo-O's...they seemed to hit right between the taste of candy cereals and the accessibility of Cheerios. I was reminded of them the other day, and I got bummed out after finding out they had been out of production for some time now.

'Tis true for me too. I always was the type of person who valued the few solid friendships I had with people who "got me," rather than attempting to be chummy with everybody. Then as time passed, the real world started to rear its ugly head and opinions, personality types, and beliefs got in the way of a couple friendships. Now I'm in a completely different state than all of my remaining childhood friends, and most of my college friends have gone back to their respective parts of the Earth. Distance and time definitely let you know who your real friends are, that's for sure.
