yay, got all co-op achievements in Read Dead Redemption now. That was pretty tough! But a lot of fun!

Oh and I just found out that some Canadian developers will make an HD remake of MDK2 for PC...just saying, since there's a few MDK lovers on here

oh, if you haven't done so yet, you should go to youtube and search for 'mortal kombat e3' . Quite a bit of gameplay with actual fatality finishers shown. It looks incredibly awesome! 2011? Boo hoo...me wants now!

hmmm...Singularity didn't get very favorable reviews. IGN UK and AU don't like it that much. Sounds like the time manipulation features are kind of worthless in the game. Oh well, I'll wait for some more reviews and will then decide.

oh and I played and finished all four Left 4 Dead 1 campaigns on expert difficulty with just one guy of my friends list over the past few days. I think that was the most painful video game experience ever for me.

The one thing I was worried about Naughty Bear appears to be the overwhelming complaint of critics of it so far... I was afraid it was gonna be horribly repetitive and grow tiresome very fast and that appears to be exactly what people are saying about it. Disappoint. :?

It depends how you go about it. -shrug- And yeah, it get's a bit repetitive if you just look to do the same things. But, if you try to spice it up, is hella fun. =D Bear trap, with a pressure mine in front. Bears come and try to save trapped bears. The chaos begins.

Or, maybe, I just need a sadism game. With bears. ._.

Been busy all day, but just recently put Singularity in. So far, it reminds me a lot of Metro 2033 (the Russian setting/culture, the architecture) and Bioshock.

Gamespot gave Singularity an 8, I know a few other publications gave a bit of a lower score. I'll check back in tomorrow with more impressions!

Ok extended impressions:

As you progress you start to find some upgrade stations for both your weapons and you TMD (Time Manipulation Device)

The upgrades to the TMD are pretty cool because you can give yourself perks (like increased accuracy on all weapons) or passive upgrades like health boosts.

Weapon upgrades so far are pretty basic, extended mag, faster reload, higher damage.

Some of the enemies can be a pain at times. One of them has a tendency to phase in and out of existence and can appear right behind you, they are so far the most frustrating. Some of the enemies with guns like to just run at you from time to time as well.

On the positive side, this game has a glove that can manipulate time and a gun that lets you control the bullet that comes out of it. And that's just the tip of the ridiculous iceberg, I'm sure of it. Though, at first the time mechanics ARE pretty gimmicky (some of the puzzles involving it are nicely done though). I'm anxious to get more of the powers I can use in combat.

Singularity has actually been getting really positive reviews, typically around the 8 mark. Unfortunately I'm going out of state tomorrow for over a week so today is my last chance to play for a bit

reviews for it are a bit all over the place http://www.metacritic.com/games/platfor ... ingularity but I kinda think I tend towards wanting that game. Not sure of the Transformers game would be worth the full price. Might wait till that one is a little cheaper

I can understand why. There are some parts with pretty bad texturing, especially since this game runs in the Unreal Engine 3. It's not a perfect game, it definitely deserves it's 80+ scores, as well as some of it's 70+ scores. Personally, it reminds me of a few of my favorite shooters mashed into one, so I'm not complaining!

it's a bit of a dilemma...Singularity does remind of a lot of cool shooters and it looks like fun but I have very nostalgic feelings for Transformers and it does not happen often that a good Transformers game comes out. And you can play the Transformers game co-op. That is a big plus too.

oh, and at last:

and that wraps up Left 4 Dead for me...got all achievements and no life, yay!
