Not a bad thing at all, in my opinion. Liddell should've dropped off the face of the MMA world years ago instead of pressing on until a silly age and incurring numerous losses as a result. I'm glad he'll now finally be done.

Yeah I know what you mean, but a part of me was hopefull for "the comeback". I really liked him, both as a person and watching him as a fighter. Its just sad that great things can come to an end so quickly (seemingly anyway... seens how Chucks 'demise' pretty much began 3 years ago)... but thats MMA. I'm also a bit gutted that now he won't get his chance to shut Tito up for a 3rd time, but then again, if Chuck's time is up, it would've been so much worse for him if it was Tito handing him the towell.

While the UFC should only be reserved for the absolute elite, no matter who you are... I'll always feel sad to see legends move on.
