lulz. this band has already surpassed TesseracT at what they do. they both sound really alike though. i still find this style of music rather boring and i find the singer in this band crap as well but its an improvement on TesseracT

I lurb it all. Unfortunately...these two bands are gonna lead a 5 or 10 year long copy and paste fest of boring clones. Guaranteed.

There are already a ton out there. I definitely try to stray from sounding too much like them.

Thanks man. If I can ever get my POD working again, I've got between 3-5 songs I need to record still that are really, really good stuff. At least one of them is one of the best I've ever written.

daneulephus wrote:It is indeed very addicting. There are many parts where the vocals are totally annoying though. There is this frequency he gets, right in between his more midrange tone and his higher vocal that just gets to me. Also, not once on this album did I hear any sort of inflection in is voice that indicated he was human, like vibrato or something. But hey, no album/band/artist is ever gonna be perfect. There is always something. Despite these setbacks (in my opinion), the music and production is so good I kind of forget about it.

I listened to a good bit of the album today driving around, and I agree with the vocal inflections. I didn't notice one moment of vibrato. I think Spencer fits them, but he does need to sound more human in the future.

I've been listening to it. The music is blowing my mind, reminds me of Chimp Spanner. I'm starting to warm up to the vocals. Overall I am enjoying it!

True. I've already seen some dude on youtube who totally cloned Tesseract's/Fell Silent's style. I think it was the same guy who did djenty "chocolate rain" cover that Phase posted here once.

Good we still have our Textures, Chimp Spanners and Cloudkickers.

^ Nice dude. It's so crazy that they're going from debut album and touring cycle right to Australia with a well established band like Dillinger. Everyone always said Bulb would go far :P haha

I read about these guys all over the place, but must say I'm quite surprised no one has mentioned how much they sound like the band Sikth - Expecially their album "Death of a Dead day". Cool stuff though.
