Monday and Tuesday of this past week.

Monday I went back to work (good thing, less hours, less stressful work, more physical activity) but ended up getting into a huge argument with my parents, definitely un-awesome

Tuesday may very well be one of the worst days of my life. After Monday being rather agitating I was looking forward to Tuesday immensely, mainly because the Dillinger Escape Plan/Animals As Leaders tour was here in Orlando (about 2 hours away from me)

So my adventure began with an extremely tiring day of work, followed by a decently long drive out to Orlando. On the way, my friend wanted me to take a 40+ mile detour to pick him up for the show, and being the nice person I am, I obliged. This is where the problems started. Every person on the road was driving extra slow, I was getting stopped by almost every single stop light, and doors opened in just about an hour. This led to the next problem, I decided to check how many minutes I had left on my phone (the Nexus supposedly only has 1 plan right now that has 500 minutes attached to it) just to find out that I had 6 minutes remaining for this month. After many inconveniences and a bit of serious speeding, I ended up finally picking my friend at around 7 o clock...the times doors opened, and we were still around 50+ miles away from the venue. So more speeding and a bit of direction from him, we make it to the venue by 8...Just to be told it's full and they cant let anyone else in. By this point, after a stressful/strenuous day of work and all the other inconveniences I was rather furious.

All in all, I ended up driving a total of 250+ miles just that night for absolutely nothing. Wasted gas, money, time, minutes on my phone, and a good bit of relaxation after work. Luckily the rest of the week has been better, but Tuesday will forever ring in my mind as one of the most ridiculously bad days of my life.

Sorry for the rant.

It's just how spread out everything is here. If you dont live in one of the major urban metropolises you end up having to drive to one to go to some shows, or stores, etc. It's kinda ridiculous. I didnt even mention my lunch break that was me driving around the entire time and ending up back at work late because of old people who wanted to wait at stop signs to let every car go, or the ones going severely under the speed limit.

But, it's gotten better. Last Tuesday will forever be remembered as one of the shittiest days of my life.
