Absolutely incredible show! I've never seen someone with so much charisma and life up on stage other than Devin. How long was it? 2 hours? Wow the time went by quickly. I wish I had stayed longer to meet the man but I was too damn worn out. That night will live on forever as one of the best in my life! Thanks for the bottle of water and the pick you handed me Dev haha.

No complaints from me other than why did it have to stop. LOL
Two and a half hours was not enough.
I could have sworn we were standing on a wooden floor during some of the songs, it was a shock when I looked down when the lights come on and I saw concrete. It was rumbling.

Well, after waiting 7-8 years for the moment to see Devin perform I'd say this marked one of the top moments of my time on this earth. First punter outside the venue at 5, front row centerish... I think so much greatness about this event has already been posted here, it's all true. Seeing someone who more or less shaped my perception of life, music, and everything, meeting him and thanking him afterwards, etc..all a very surreal experience. Got quite a good selection of signed things, picks from Dave and Devin, even picked up the tech/mixing setup from the mixing desk afterwards, which is also totally cool seeming it was listening to Terria and Alien closely on headphones almost 5 years ago which triggered me off into the realm of audiophilia, which now dominates my life.

Yeah, I can die happy now. Just have to see Cynic and all my massive influences have been seen and met. This however...I think that night will stand out in my memory of life forever. Fulfilled so many dreams in the space of the few hours. I guess now I only have to hope it all happens again...and I wouldn't be surprised if it did...

A buddy of mine got an EPIC collection of photos from the front too, so shall link to those when I can.

Did Did anyone record the show? My life fell apart just before the concert so I wasn't able to go, which makes me a sad panda ;)

Hopefully there will be a next time and I can go to that!

This concert was AMAZING. I have been doing shows for years, I have been the sound guy down at Transmission Room (where the show was held) for a long time and have mixed hundreds of bands, so many of which have bored the hell out of me. This show however was truly mind-blowing. Every now and then you witness a performance that inspires you to play music, work with musicians, etc, and as time goes on with more and more shows, I have been finding this inspiration comes by less and less commonly - but DTP was the most inspiring show I have ever witnessed.

Its good to know people thought the sound was decent - with Transmission Room having only a couple of weeks left at that point in time, the system down there was minimal - obviously not desirable for an international band. I thought it went pretty well in the end though! Its always a lot of fun mixing bands and musicians you look up to.

As for photos and videos, I have seen hundreds of photos around the place on friends' facebook pages, etc, and various videos on youtube. Unfortunately didn't get to take any myself, but I'm sure there will have to be a next time! I have a friend who took a few videos with a camera with surprisingly good sound quality, Ill try grab them off him sometime.
