I don't want to spoil anything for you, but it gets progressively better.

Plus I really like Lightning and Sahz.

Bad Australian accents galore, wooooo.

Anyhow, I grabbed the expansion for Dragon Age: Origins and am plodding my way through it. Imported my character from the original game instead 'o making a new one from Orlais, but I'll likely try that method as well. It's been a bit buggy too, characters arms stuck half-raised, people lifting imaginary goblets to their mouths and drinking (when the goblet was there just a second ago) but aside from that it's been fun so far. Not enough Alistair though. Always need moar.

Alistair = super win. Sarcastic bugger that he is.

lots of ME2 DLC over the next few weeks. The Firewalker pack, the Kasumi DLC, new clothes for a few characters (not that that's an important DLC). Of course most of this is stuff that was intended to be in the game from the beginning and was cut out to be released later as DLC thanks to the wonderful people of EA (meh) but oh well...

Haaaaaaawt. Playing infiltrator now, never noticed how powerful the tech explosions were before. Sound glitches are annoying :(

I'm playing as infiltrator too in my current walkthrough in ME2. A really cool class actually. Even if the SMG ain't the best weapon ever but sniping is a lot more fun as an infiltrator. My character for that is a lady...and boy, she looks ugly. I imported her from a ME1 save and was like  Don't know if I was just to stupid to create a decent lady in ME1 or if there just were no better ways to create a better looking one

That's pretty funny. I might need to try that, when I finally get my Mass Effect 2 back from my friend...

Decided to bite the bullet and pick up Heavy Rain in the next day or two. Played the demo and found the controls incredibly irritating but horrendously intriguing, and all the gushing about how epic the story is and how it's a different kind of gaming experience has lured me into it...

So the gaming jobs for the week shall be polish off the Saboteur, get and finish Heavy Rain and get that 3D Arkham Asylum.

Hopefully my silly college assignments won't get in the way of my highly important gaming fanaticism...

Anybody use a wireless PC game controller?

I'm gonna get a decent soundcard put in, so I can run my PC through my Sony 7.1 Receiver, but I've been playing the 360 for so long that I'd prefer to keep using a controller. I have a wireless Logitech keyboard/mouse, so I can use those if I must.

Any suggestions? Who prefers a mouse?
