Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

As you are feeling itchy and scratchy I won't badger you, but wish you good things for a better mood. Have a nice cup of tea and some biscuits. That usually works for me.

Aww, thank you Billy - I wasn't being snappy at you or anything, I just realised the mood I was in thought "Maybe I should just STFU." xD I've had a delicious hot chocolate, and feeling slightly better. :)

And aye - I need to pick a profession in general to be fair. I'm just looking 'normal' at the moment so I can grab a hold of anything, and it's making me miserable. I am however at the moment failgirl and can't find/think/etc of anything I'd like to do, or feel capable of.

But anyway, going by a couple of the pictures you've posted, you've done some pretty crazy stuff. :P

I attended an all-girls highschool - and the first couple of years, we had a principal who was pretty friendly and didn't mind a bit of variety amongst the students. She left, and the new principal was a tyrannical bitch. She would parade around the school during lunchtime or morning/afternoon tea breaks - checking each girls hair was tied up with 'regulation colour' hairties! And heaven forbid we sat on the grass with our sandals off in the summer time, that meant a detention!

When she approached my group of friends and I to yell at us and hand out detentions for being barefoot on the grass -- and to lecture my friend on her purple hairtie (oh my god how indecent!) I asked her; "Do you not have anything better to do with your time?"

...that went down wonderfully. :/

We even had regulation underwear, but nobody checked that unless you wore something coloured that showed through the white shirt. Oh yeah, shoes too. Jewellery was disapproved but you could wear the tiniest of sleepers or gold/silver studs in ear. My one note of rebellion in this pic... pink marbled comb in top pocket. Ahhh, Morrison's Academy art rooms!

Actually, apart from the blazer, they've changed the uniform from grey skirts and cardigan/jumper to dark navy/green tartan skirts and navy jumper these days.

Yep, next time I walk past that ruined abbey along the road the ground's gonna open and swallow me up for sure. :P

Some pics of my past weekend:

Qwest Field

Newly opened Hard Rock Cafe - our waitress sat us at the "best table", the Nirvana wall. That's Cobain's guitar, and the small box on the right contains his and Courtney Love's snow globe that sat atop their wedding cake. Awesome food and drinks, very cool staff, LOUD music and interactive screens at every table.

You can just barely see Mt. Rainier in the distance...

Massive fountain in Seattle Center that jets water to music at different pressures.

Hi all again.

To the school matter I just want to say that here in Finland we don't have dress or hair rules at any school level I know.
There might be some real private ones, but they can do as they please, I don't care :D
When I moved to Vaasa where I have been working now for 3 years, I had to study a while to get another degree.
At school, I encountered the first "bump" against my looks.
I have liked skirts, anime style looks, big shoes and just not that normal style for ages, and did not feel a bit nervous about myself. And I had the looong deliciously green dreads at that time.
I was confident, because I know what I am good at and I can prove it anytime.
No hair or make up was too crazy for the jobs I did, I'd been a office assistant, "communication provider" (yeah.. I sold telephones and internet connections ), library assistant, etc..
But at that school, our head teacher said to me once that "you should really start to reconsider your looks. There is no way you can get a job while looking like that. I see no future for you, and I am sorry that you need to "normalize" yourself in order to get a decent job here. I wish I didn't need to say this, but I feel like you don't understand how much people are afraid of you."
 :?:
Umm, afraid of me? I know I am and wasn't normal looking, but afraid?
Needless to say, he was wrong.
I have a good enough job so I can afford to buy a house, a car and have two well eating dogs and huge hair.
And I did that with my green hair and good education.

But away from the green and back to this time!

This is a huge picture again, I resized it but now it's big again? :D
Oh well, I was supposed to be chocolate brown and vanille white, but now that I haven't yet put the brown in,
I thought I'd post a work in progress -picture.

Finally something I haven't edited!
It's how I really look!
woo!
And I said to Emmeke at #devintownsend that I feel like a yeti.. :D

So, what says you?
Should I stick with vanille swirl for a while?
I'm :troubles: (stuck) in too many ideas.

Might as well get in something here. I finished school last year and I did this family portait collection thing. I'm not really fond of that stuff, but the acoustic was in the car, I just had to express myself 8) . I feel guilty for not photoshopping it and making a darker background hehe :D .

One of these photos became edited on Paint.NET for my avatar as you can tell.

Yup, I'm a redhead, and I'm proud of it haha.

Course he is. Otherwise he'd be letting us down, and he'd never let anyone down.
