Great show, despite the hiccups :)

Setlist was as follows:

Disruptr
Supercrush!
Kingdom
Truth
By Your Command

2nd half of the set (beginning with Truth) was plagued with technical problems courtesy of Devy's Macbook :) Got to hear Truth and By Your Command with click-track and devy counting "ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE SIX" over and over again. Still, played an amazing set and was absolutely incredible to see Devy & the boys live. A small portion of the crowd towards the middle of the front area were getting into the music, however a majority of the folks there appeared to be present only for BTBAM. Ah well, regardless.. It was an amazing show, and I can't wait to see Devy again in a few weeks in Knoxville!

The show wasn't as good as it could have been but was still quite an experience. Disruptr wasn't one of my favorites from Ki but as the show it sent shivers down my spine. With the click track messing up a bit of pressure was created but dev handled it pretty well. It put a bit of a damper on the rest of the show but the Ziltoid montage finished the set off strong. Everyone was great but I have to give major props to RVP-there was so much energy behind that kit! All in all great show and I am pleased to have finaly met the man behind the music on some stairs during the coldest night I've ever experienced in Atlanta.

My wife and I are new fans of Devin, and we were very eager to see him live. He did have a hiccup at the show, but I think he handeled it like a champ. I was blown away to watch him sing as well live as he does on his studio recordings. His personality on stage is AMAZING. I only wish he could have played longer and more stuff from the DTP albums ... but that's what happens when so many people are scheduled to take the stage.

It was great to meet him and chat after the show. Can't wait for Devin to come back to Atlanta!

Devin's set was simply amazing. Yes, there were some technical problems, but Dev handled it like a pro. Hearing "TWO THREE FOUR!" during the transitions was hysterical. I was lucky enough to be in the more animated front, middle section of the crowd, so the vibes around me were consistently positive throughout the entire set. Disruptr was badass, and it even started a little pit during the climax. The band was solid, and Dev's vocals were astoundingly perfect, although I would have liked to have had his vox cranked a bit louder. Supercrush was punishing, and Dev entertained the crowd during the verses. Kingdom sounded fantastic, and the click-track accented versions of Truth and By Your Command were both killer.

The crowd was rather young and most of them were there for BTBAM but I think the devin townsend project was pretty well received. I was also able to meet Devin briefly after the show. I thanked him for his amazing music and told him that the Devin Townsend Project is one of the most inspiring things I've ever seen in music. I know Dev gets uncomfortable with superfluous flattery, so I kept it brief...and fuck it anyway, I'm gonna say thanks! My friend did the same and he kindly extended his hand, Dev couldn't have been nicer. I told him that when he headlines he has to come back to Atlanta. It was a pleasant exchange and a great way to end the night.

The Atlanta show was great. As others have said, Devin's samples went haywire after Kingdom, but the band still kicked ass. That was my first time seeing Devin, and I must say that his energy and stage presence are astounding. I only wish he could have played more songs. At the end of the set, the crowd chanted "TOWNSEND! TOWNSEND!" briefly, after which I personally started a chant of "DEVIN! DEVIN!" Our hopes for an encore were unfortunately not fulfilled. However, I was lucky enough to run into Devin as I was on the way to the bathroom, and he was kind enough to take a picture with me. I wish I had chatted more, but I was a bit starstruck. I can't wait for him to return to Atlanta.

Hahaha, I saw you getting your picture taken. If you hadn't have asked him to do that, I probably wouldn't have been able to annoy him on his way out the door...well done!

I waited for three hours in the cold with my brother for this show and it couldn't have been more worth it.
Dev was great, I had a blast. My bro and I were front center and gave the spot to the deserving BTBAM fans after Devin's set. (And because I'm female, I didn't want to get murdered during BTBAM being in that spot.)

This was my first show seeing him live and all my hopes were met. Great music, great vibes, funny show (jokes and hiccups included).
I tried to stick around to meet him after the show, but I'm easily intimidated, haha, so that fell through.
Maybe next time, 'cause after that, I am so on board for another show, and bought tickets to the Charleston, SC show the next night after seeing it.

Anyway, wonderful show!

Technical problems or not this show was amazing, of course getting to see one of your idols always is. It was totally worth driving from Savannah and then standing outside in the cold to see! Can;t wait for him to come back and headline!
