well if he gets a pod i hope he enjoys his boring run of the mill tone. alucard youre biased because your entire setup is digital. mines half half and the analog properties are so much better than digital. i will eventually convert my whole rig to analog when i have the cash. so apparently im retarded. so be it

My set up is mostly digital because of the cost. I've been unemployed since August and haven't had the extra money to indulge in new equipment.

I'd love to have a Peavey 6505 or an ENGL Invader one day. Problem is both of them cost into the thousands of dollars, even used. I cant afford anything like that with no job.

I'm no expert, but to me digital would seem to be the way to go for home recording as a hobbyist. Non-destructive editing is generally a good thing. Being able to change the amp/effects for a guitar part without having to re-record it is awesome.

Haha, a Crate Powerblock. It's a solid state 150 watt amp with a single channel, no effects. I use it as just a power amp for my Pod.
