I think it is a lot of people voting against the media domination of X-factor and these shitty 'talent shows' which masquerade as real music but are merely an excuse for a handful of unscrupulous svengalis to exploit desperate unknowns and manipulate the public into believing this crap is entertainment - and laughing at the poor talentless saps who they discard along the way.
I wasn't really bothered by it at all until Simon Cowell expressed his outrage in the week that anyone should dare to challenge his right to automatically decree what is number one at Christmas. And that vile self-serving chav Cheryl Cole sobbing about the meanness of anyone preventing her poor Joe having a number one with the manufactured pap they have smeared his face over. Then I bought 5 copies of Killing in the name.

Yeah, while I do still think this is ridiculous, I have to admit I've been silently rooting for Rage since the X-Factor camp started pulling the "bawwwwww we're being bullied this is the worst injustice any human being has ever faced" card.
