I agree though. I don't have a problem with black people, but 9 out of 10 times (probably more; I never bothered to count) their music style is despicable.

I dunno if this makes it any better but I meant it in a way that doesn't generalise all black people. I have enormous respect for their race, heritage, cultures and customs. What I don't have respect for is the fact that the music channels are overloaded with really poor examples of human beings for both black and white people, but particularly black; presumably because their music is deemed cooler by teenagers and because their primary genres of music are catchy and easy to listen to, and you fit in more if you know about them. I by no stretch of the imagination use the offensive word casually.
Plus if you think about it, it makes perfect sense that the charts are full of terrible music. Even the 80s, which featured some of the most brilliant artists of our age, was littered with drivel because of the fact that teenagers have an inclination to conform to the socially acceptable manner of thinking, and thus music that people with more varied tastes listen to (ie people who actually listen to the music itself for recreational purposes as opposed to going dancing or clubbing and wanting it as a backdrop) will be a minority in sales, even if there are a lot of people like that.
I created this new account to apologise to NSTbedtime for offending him/her. Ban this as well if you want, I never really come here anymore anyway because I'm too busy with college stuff these days. I can get the 101 about Dev other ways so frankly I don't give a shit about these boards anymore and the fact that censorship is considered so important is offputting. I understand why it's implemented, I'd just be inclined to not want to be around to another individual if they weren't willing to accept my (argumentative) nature so the same applies here. It's funny that I'm pretty well liked IRL and people are always up for controversial viewpoints but on an internet forum, where it's a far more detatched mode of debate, people get their knickers in a twist as if what I say is actually going to affect them. Governing the internet is really stupid and pointless.
NSTbedtime wrote:You are liked and respected. Your opinions, respected, by me too. And yeah you can use the anonymity of the internet to safely express your opinions, It's impersonal. If I was in your face you probably wouldn't have said it, and if you did, I would have clocked you.
But bitch how do you go from fucking niggers to I have enormous respect for their race, heritage, cultures and customs. That's fuckin folly.
I don't think you should have been banned, just watch what the fuck you say.
AlucardXIX wrote:That's a hell of a retort towards someone who just got banned for derogatory comments. Zyprexa, or Pandorly, was a female and telling her you would "clock" her or calling her a "bitch" is just as bad in my opinion. Granted you more than likely did not know Prexa was a she.
