I don't know about you guys, but Deconstruction and Ghosts are just not doing it for me.

Granted, I can only hear them via a telepathic, cross-dimensional .05 kbs mp3 device that's been surgically implanted in my choda, and every time I fart it skips tracks and destroys an alternate version of the Earth (usually the good ones, where New Country was never invented), so I guess I'm not totally sure and will have to hear the albums in the full context.

Actually, now that it's just two weeks away. I don't mind waiting.

Anyone else get this vibe at all?

Yeah but that's been in there before, I felt that about Physicist. I think I forgive it as a style of the times - I feel otherwise I'd become out of touch and start feeling like melodies aren't given enough respect by trudging them off and around some classical movement or what not while complaining about popular music and electrical instruments these days.

seriously though I think that the weird beat in BILB which sounds like someone walking with one shoe on, combined with key sections of lead and backing vocals starting on the beat just seem to emphasise the 'joins' so to speak.

I like the idea of euro pop sounding like a spaz with one shoe on, maybe it's deliberate mocking of the stupidity but in a laughing with you rather than at you way.

maybe a pissed (drunk) robot?

Yeah I know how you feel. But have you ever considered the fact that it wasn't an overreaction and that you could be simply wrong or mistaken ? Cos ki is not a weak album :)

noooo

no more Dev tracks until a leak/release

the LAST song I'd ever want to hear be released before the album release would be supercrush.

That would be almost half the album, half a month before it comes out. No thanks, would rather hear the album in its entirety now that I've heard three songs already and a taste of what each song even sounds like :P

Anyone who hasn't checked out the Kalisia...DO IT!

Since i'm allways eager to discover new music, i will check them out ;) As for my fav album of the year, it's still a race between Ki and Porcupine Tree's The Incident. 2009 has been a great year for music, and to top it off Addicted is here in two weeks :D For those of you who are into progrock/metal and haven't listened to Porcupine Tree....go do it right now, i think The Incident is great album :D
