Just wait for Deconstruction, man.

Addicted has seven other songs you didn't hear, yet... so there's still a big chance you'll love it after first listening.

Have a nice one, too.

Well, I have to say that I truly love this song. It's a first song for a long long, and I mean LONG time that makes me feel happy. And it's so damn catchy too. I'm usually into much heavier stuff than this, but it's nice to feel that "party on"sensation once in a while :D

I have yet to listen to any of the songs that have been posted. I am patiently waiting for my Pre-Order... and it can't come soon enough.

I am excited to hear how Bender sounds, should be good times!!

It's funny how Devin makes a reasonably commercial song and he gets hassle for it. There is no pleasing some folk who you would think could get over the fact that Dev is not in SYL and he likes pop music.

Of course I can appreciate that "BILB" is not for everyone, especially those guys in their Nasum shirts haha.

BILB makes me smile.

I'm currently wearing a Napalm Death "Nazi Punks F..k Off" Anti-Nazi League t-shirt and I love BILB.

Some folks will love it, some will think it's ok and others won't like it. That's music for you and nothing anybody fires at anybody else on here will change it. It's that individual taste thing that makes music so interesting and always fresh.

Even with disagreement on here it's all far better than a track coming out and everybody all agreeing that they don't care at all !

The one thing you should never do is try and work out the tastes of somebody wearing a rock or metal t-shirt.

It's like juggling smoke - a nice idea in principle but impossible in practice

Totally,

I love Fear of God, Napalm, Corrupted etc etc and love BILB.

I'm sure though you still get the sterotypical meathead/metalhead who shouts "SSSSSLYYYYRRRRRRRRRRRR" (Slayer) at gigs and can't cope with that "gay pop shit"

Saying that, there is no wrong or right, music is an individual taste as you correctly pointed out.

I'm waitin to hear the whole album to give full opinion, right now I'm listening, thinking the bass is intense. Cause I got a hernia or somfen in my groin, and the bass is makin my balls sore. :(

Wasn't that the Dead Kennedys?

Anyone else notice the similarity between the bridge vox section and 'very' by Moby? bugged me for ages and had me dredging through my John Foxx records.

Yep, DK's originally then picked up by Napalm as a cover. They also issued a shirt with it's artwork on the front and an anti-fascist slogan back. Top drawer stuff.

Blimey, John 'Underpass' Foxx mentioned in the same post as Napalm & Dev - we really are a mixed up bunch on here !

The Dev wrote:Man, even I want this album to leak now so folks can hear all this in context.

This is a prime example of the law of unintended consequences.

Everyone is waiting for this leak. I personally search for it about dozen times a day. It's been like that for about a month now. Each day I woke up with hope only to find crushing defeat.

I guess the point I'm trying to make is that hype is good but it's gotten over hyped now and it can't live up to the expectations. I realized that I over hyped it in my mind a few days ago. In a perfect Multiverse it would have leaked about a week ago at just the right moment before it entered into over hyped territory.

Now everybody is judging the entire album on a single song and some 5 second clips. It's not fair and it's not right but it's all the unlucky ones have.

Thankfully I was able to buy my January 9th concert tickets and that put my mind at ease. I feel much better now and I've left the over hyped realm and entered back into the hyped state of mind. I'm ready for more crushing defeats. :alien:

Edit: I became a became a "Bastard" with this post. :alien:
