well i just finished reading dev's blog post on his myspace about bend it like bender but that wasn't what caught me it was this paragraph...
Again, all 4 records were written together...which was good for me, because when I would get all antsy with Ki, I would unload with Deconstruction, then get offended by my own pretension and rock some good vibes with Addicted, then when I would feel like it was ALL stupid, I'd write for Ghost, and make some dead country voices.

ok going by that it seems that the 4th album is going to be called "Ghost" ???? duno but that seems to be the tentative Title

well this is all speculation and all and until dev confirms this we cannot be certain.

I always thought that one of these albums would be quieter then Ki, more of a homage to his electronica stuff (like Hummer, or Devlab perhaps), so I guess while we get the subtle and severe in Ki, the balls to the wall rock of Addicted, the kill everyone anger of Deconstruction, we get the quiet and reflective "Ghost"

Or perhaps I'm talking bollocks. Dev, help me here mate.

I like that title, simple but pretty cool. Maybe in tribute to Swayze... That'd be awesome. R.I.P Swayze.

it's more like this:

You're on a deserted rock and dust moon, no one but you, in exile.

All you have to keep you company is an old turntable and some old, haunted records of olde tyme country and acoustic folk songs.

Dead voices singing optimism from another time, no longer alive, but it's the only comfort on the empty, small deserted moon, winds howling, no shelter, black starry sky.

Remember Eraserhead? The songs he was listening to in his little apartment?

Something like the Cowboy Junkies, something like the instrumental 'Sleepwalk', with a background of total isolation.

Beautiful songs though...

That sounds incredible.

Also, I love David Lynch.

Sounds like, seriously, really amazing. also like the type of cd you'd have to record in conjunction with Deconstruction just to balance the feelings out. I don't know; seems like recording Deonstruction all at once(or just the thought of it)is such a bummer that trying to combine with this would make it more tolerable.

I Am A Man of Constant Sorrow from O Brother Where Art Thou is popping up in my head right now for some reason.

I have a feeling this album will be awesome down the road, but I have to say I'm pretty curious... are you gonna roll out the red carpet for this album like you've been doing for Addicted and Ki or is this going to be more of a low key release?

Mind you, it's already future preordered with phantom dollars (the coolest kind of cryptocurrency around!), but since this is something of a more personal record for you, and hey awesome for you to share it with us, is it going to be more of a scaled back hummer kinda deal?

Low key...maybe in conjunction with Deconstruction, which is definitely NOT low key .
