Man, imagine how Horton would've felt if the Whos were Devy fans! They would've screamed "WE ARE HERE WE ARE HERE" to him then decided to stay in and watch TV rather than prove it to anyone else.

That, right there, is a perfect example of the major evil in the industry.

It would be funny if it wasn't so painfully predictable of something like EMI. Crazy, and not in a good way.

^ Yeah, that is some bullshit. I wonder how it must feel to write all of your own music and then have your rights to it ripped away...not even being able to publicly share it? I hope I never know.

What song do you reckon it would be?

These new Amazon samples have me wanting Bend it like Bender or Supercrush pretty badly, but tomorrow I'll be wanting two others.
It all sounds so amazing.

Ah yes, the Resolve clip on Amazon has me super psyched also.

We need the whole album though.

I've only listened to the teaser a handful of times, and I've not listened to Addicted or Universe yet simply because if I hear it I need to hear it all together. I'm dyin' for a leak here, I feel like a junky. Still, there's a spot next to my signed Ki that needs filling. :P

Otherwise, this one is going to be a tough sell when it comes time to pay the bills.

Dude, you're reading, but not comprehending. if you want Devin to have a headlining set, you're going to need to work for it. It doesn't cost money to call local radio stations and ask them to play Addicted (The song), or to call your local music venues and tell them to book Devin Townsend. If you have a printer, it doesn't cost money to go put up posters around town. And it may cost money to buy a ticket for an abbreviated set, but that's where you can buy the merch, and that's where you can tell the people who own the venue you want Devin to their face.

Again, this is how the fans get what they want in the modern day music industry, is by simulating mass demand and getting the word out. So anyone sitting here complaining, there IS something you can do. Go do it.

"Resolve" has gone back to being the track I'm most looking forward to after listening to the Amazon clip. I love that little bit of the opening verse you hear. My only concern based on what I've heard so far (and this goes for a lot of the other tracks as well), is that I wish Dev had handled a little bit more of the lead vocal duties himself. I love Anneke's voice and I'm glad she's on the CD, I just want it to seem like I'm listening to a Devin Townsend CD with guest vocals from Anneke van Giersbergen, and not the other way around. It's not that big of a deal though, I know I'm going to love the CD regardless.

If it's any consolation, the tickets for the show in Cleveland are $16. I know that live nation has a day where they don't charge any of the extra fees. I can't imagine tickets for this tour being anymore than $20.
