Hiatus? I don't know...two years between Ziltoid and Ki/Addicted is nothing when you compare it to an actual hiatus. Honestly, the flow that Dev releases albums is the flow that bands should: one to two years apart (or in this case, some months!).

No, he made music again, but he didn't returned 'till now. Saying this, i really don't care th replies like "maan townsend can do whateva' he wants yo, he's still townsend yo". We all know that's the essence of Devin, he can make any kind of music he wants, dance techno experimental flamenco for example, but his essence is that kind of music. It doesn't mean "he can only make complicated music, the rest is shit" it means that simply that's what he is, he is his music, the complicated one (not only chaotic, awesome arrangements, full of voices, etc). To put it into a metaphor... he can return with red hair, and said "look mates my hair is red now" wich is cool but we all now that he's blonde.

The last minute or so of UiaB is pretty weak. He just screams at roughly the same volume over a repetitive riff, and it sounds... bland. The chorus part of the song is very fucking catchy, it's only been in my head for like 3 weeks since hearing the teaser, but the rest of the song... bland and boring. I thought Addicted was a better song, and I'm looking more forwards now to the songs with Anneke to provide some dynamic difference to Devin's screaming.

Woah, the last 2 minutes of UiaB is BETTER. The chorus didn't appeal to me until after the first "AREN'T WE ALL..."

If you don't like the non-choruses you're going to hate the whole album since it's pretty chorus based from what we've heard
