Listening to the Addicted teaser makes me think of how I liked the Ki teaser. Sure, it sounded interesting but I don't know what to make of it. For example, if I think of the parts of Ki (the song) that were in the teaser, it's barely a representation of what a climax that song builds up to. Addicted may be more straight-forward than Ki in terms of build-up or whatever, but I still find it difficult to judge how the album's going to be based on the teaser. If you recall the Nibz (Supercrush) clip on youtube you could only hear Anneke's voice in the final chorus that Dev recorded, so I think the entire song will be quite climactic and such. I just don't want to listen to the teaser too much, get an idea about the whole album and then find it's completely different and (unlikely but) possibly be let down.
For a blunt and crude (and totally inappropriate) metaphor: it's like watching 10 seperate clips of porn, and they're all moneyshots. Makes you appreciate it less, doesn't it? This is also a bad metaphor, because it assumes there's more to porn than... well, you know. Never mind, ignore this.
Anyway, all that being said, I love hearing a bit more context to the few clips we've already heard on youtube and already knowing Hyperdrive, that snippet sounds really awesome. As for the rest, I'll wait and uhh.. hear.
