Talk about whatever you want to here, but stay correct

I guess it depends on your lifestyle. I use a knife almost every day, usually several times a day. Usually outdoors. It would be an irritation not to have one to hand.
Most often what i have to hand is a Leatherman multi-tool because I quite frequently have need of screwdriver, grips etc as well, but having a real knife as well is much more practical most of the time.

I thought I was the only one who carried earplugs around religiously.

I really should start doing this. As much as I record, blaring music in high quality headphones probably isn't good for me ears. I notice that when I see live music, the volume really never offends me. :? Could be all the cigarettes and alcohol over the years too.

5 years ago, when I only went to live shows irregularly, I almost never used earplugs, and wasn't bothered much by it. Even when it took 2-3 days for my ears to fully recover after a loud one. Now that I rehearse weekly and go to shows almost every week, that's not acceptable. Earplugs are necessary, plus they (good ones) make the sound clearer in most situations.

I use a knife every day, when I'm making lunch. I don't carry it around in my pocket.

Ah, but you probably don't hunt, kill, gut, skin and butcher your lunch beforehand.

Although you should. As Islandsinthesky pointed out, this is a metal forum, dammit!

You can't blame him too much. Butter is fucking dangerous.
