I'm just saying I drive a Kia as opposed to a Rolls, but in perspective...theres people who live in boxes...my life is great.

Haha I plan on making progressive trance as a hobby or career in the future and damn, I wish I could even rake that much money, but music is such a hard thing to be apart of.

Looking smooth Dev :P

Hahaha, it's awesome

This just blared over the speakers of my computer in my class just now. "THIS SONG IS ABOUT ME GIVING HEAD TO BIG REDNECKS"...great. Thats what I get for not checking the volume first.

I have a bootleg VHS of this performance. Classic.

where did you get it?

The singer for my grind band used to deal bootleg videos. I have like two others from that same tour....with Testament and Stuck Mojo I believe. First time I ever met Dev was on that tour....

Speaking of SYL, I think I just ODed on Detox, AAA, Skeksis, and Posessions. What a great way to end my day. :D

This is the video that 'offcially' got me into Dev! I thought he was the most amazing thing on Ayreon's 'The Human Equation' album when it came out, then I came accross this vid on google video or something. Little did i know that my music life was about to change forever! :D

I loved Human Equation as well, and wanted to get into the more prog-sounding things.
Bloody glad I did, too.

So I just was at a Between the Buried and Me concert, and in between songs, their guitar player Paul started playing the riff from "Deadhead". It was pretty random but awesome to find out hes a Devin fan.

So after their set I met their bassist who said they were planning a headlining tour in the US starting in January...

...could this be the tour Devin's on?

Thanks, it's out of my hands now though...hang tough.

Ouch, I like/love it when music related stuff is in your hands. This cant be good? ;)

Still listening to Hummer and Devlab daily. Thanx. Hope to hear more of that as well. And maybe Addicted will give me something new to play for my friends.
Every time Im in a good mood I put on that live version of "Far beyond metal, the one with"; "This next song is an homage to metal, and the cheesy voices that come with it when I sing it"
Gets me every time. :)

My fave videoed performance is still Download....probably cause I watch the DVD yelling "LOOK! THERE'S MEEEE AT THE FRONT! MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!!" :P The girl I was camping with left halfway through the first song cause she thought they were "offensifff". She wasn't allowed to stay in my tent after that. 8)

I'm always in awe watching Download, especially when you go from a video where crowed was say 1000, then another one that is 50,000.
